Chaeri's eyes widened at the sight of Jaeyoon near the crossroads, her heart suddenly started beating really fast, Snap! What is she going to do?! If they continued walking he'll see her with Yugyeom, she doesn't want that, he might get suspicious,

And Yugyeom-she turned her head to the person beside her who had a grim expression on his face-doesn't like Jaeyoon. It was already obvious there would be trouble if they meet again,

Chaeri bit her lower lip as she found herself torn between them, she badly wanted to talk to Jaeyoon but she also didn't want to make Yugyeom go home when all he wanted was to walk her to the bus stop.

Her eyes watched as Jaeyoon walked closer to the crossroad, how could he look so cool when all he did was walk, the boy was wearing earphones on and his eyes were locked on his phone so he didn't see them yet, her heart broke, she was going to hate herself for what she was about to do,

"Yugyeom..." she called catching the wolf boy's attention,
Yugyeom turned his head towards Chaeri, he was a bit surprised when she let go of his arms,

"Can you walk me to the bus stop some other time?" She said as she looked at him with pleading eyes,

Yugyeom stood still, his heart suddenly felt like it was being squeezed, His forehead creased at the foreign feeling,

"Why?" He asked, he couldn't understand why Chaeri would want to walk with some other guy, she was their host, she was supposed to like the pack more than anyone,

"I just..." Chaeri wanted to slap herself right now, she knew she was being selfish, how could she deny Yugyeom of the only thing he ever asked her,

She bit her lower lip as she gave Jaeyoon another look, just once, just this once she wanted to have a chance at him, she have been waiting so long for this to happen and it finally did, she just couldn't bare letting this chance go,

Yugyeom held her arm making her turn towards him "Chaeri-"

"Please go home..." She uttered as she grabbed his shirt in the chest area, he felt hurt "I-I have to go, If I don't talk to him now I'll never have the courage to talk to him later, this is so important to me."

Yugyeom's jaw tightened as he clenched his fist, his sharp gaze was on the boy Chaeri called 'important',

"What about me?" He uttered grimly at the girl "Am I not important? You're our host Chaeri, shouldn't we matter more to you than anyone?"

Chaeri's lips quivered as she fought back the urge to cry, she wanted to scold herself, she was probably the worst host there is "Come on, Yugyeom" a faint and sad chuckle escaped her lips "Don't be such a kid. You could always accompany me to the bus stop anytime. Just... just not today."

Yugyeom's glare at Jaeyoon was now deadly, Chaeri was their host and the boy was clearly taking her away from them, he took a step back surprising her, if Chaeri wasn't there he would have already done to the boy what any territorial wolf would do to a stranger,

"I understand" he uttered,

Chaeri raised her head to meet Yugyeom's eyes, her eyes glinting with hope which soon died down as soon as she saw the sullen look on his face, the boy turned his back on her,

"Have fun walking with him..."

Chaeri turned around wiping the tears that started to fall down her cheeks, she didn't want to see Yugyeom go, she was sure she'll take back everything she said to him if she did.

Her gaze landed on Jaeyoon and she forced herself to smile before calling the boy's name and running to him,

Yugyeom's eyes glowed an angry shade of blue as he watched Chaeri run towards the boy who just made it into the list of things he abhor, he didn't like the way the boy acted so close to her or the way Chaeri smiled when she was near him,
