Chapter 11: His personal?

Everyone were excited for the party. This was once of the best events at GOA and the gang were about to enjoy such a party together after so many years. But no one noticed Rey who was least interested except Swayam. The guys assembled at the living room waiting for the girls."Rinni pass me my liner" shouted Simmi at Rinni who was busy with her lip gloss."Sharon how will this look?" asked Taani extra concerned about her looks today.She had tried more than 10 dresses, but couldn't find anything suitable. She sat on the bed frustrated."Aaj Shivam pakka mera mazak udayegha" she thought."Dude is everything OK?" asked Swayam who was sitting on the couch."haan yea!" replied Rey.But Swayam looked at him questioningly. "I feel Sharon is right. Re doesn't seems to be OK with Shivam" he thought."Hey tum suddenly itna consicous kyun ho rahi ho?" asked Sharon sitting next to her."Sharon today I don't want to give Shivam any chance to pull my legs. Iska matlab you are really pretty and mark my words today Shivam won't find any chance to pull your legs" said Sharon holding Taani's shoulders in assurance and said it in bit higher tone for Rey to hear.Rey smile vanished the moment he heard Sivam's name and Swayam glared at Sharon for such a move."I think we should start" said Rey bluntly and everyone started towards the car when Rey got a call."YEa Leena? Anything important??""Yes Sir, just wanted to inform that Mr.Gupta's project deal is going to be held be the end of this month.""Who is our opponent?" asked Rey."Mr.Kundra!" she replied.Rey's eyes widened the moment he heard the name Kundra. Anger flourished on his face."Make all necessary steps regarding this deal. I don't want to loose it at any cost." he said."Sir I have already collected all necesary info regarding the deal and mailed you. But..""What??" he asked."This deal isn't going to prove much profitable for our company. We have deals with bigger companies to complete. And this can lead us to more problems."Rey was frustrated."Now you are going to teach how to run the business?? Just follow my instructions" he shouted."Yes sir. Taani could notice Rey engrossed in some thoughts but brushed her thoughts aside. The gang reached the beach or the resort where the event was taking place. Guys it's couple entry stall announced Swayam. Soon the couples held each other hands and took their position. Rey let out his hand and smiled at Taani. She smiled and slid her hands into his and looked at him excited. This was the first time they are out as a couple for some casual trip other than business trips.But Rey looked disturbed."are you OK?" she asked with concern filled in her voice."Err.. Nothing." he said and turned away walking lifeless towards the entry.Her smile faded away when she saw him like that. She decided not to question him anymore because somewhere she knew or she felt he would never share the truth with her. This thought made her heart feel heavy.A tall bodyguard checked their passes and let the couple in. The evening party was held in a open air resort and people were screaming and enjoying with each other. Taani and Rey who were lost in their own world came back to reality when they heard the crowd cheer and the host took the mike marking the beginning of party. She smiled seeing Shivam on the stage."Taani are you sure??""haan Shivam believe me. This will work out. Tumare haatho mei books se zyaada guitar acha lagtha hai! Just go for it!" she said holding his hands in assurance."Soon Shivam took the stage and the crowd cheered for him. "Shivam Shivam..Shi" this was all one could hear. Shivam came down and took Taani's hands and took her to the stage. Soon shivam sat on his kneels and handed her the mike as if he was about to propose her."So cutee.." shouted the crowd. The crowd who had been here for a simple musical concert were double excited to see the extra fun filled package they were getting from the gang. On the other hand, the d3 gang were living their life again. They felt like living again. Their dance, their passion, their life. They were living the moment. On the other hand Rey stood there speechless. He always admired her business skills, but he never knew she was such a talented singer. Soon everyone reached home and Shivam accompanied them to the farmhouse. The gang had invited him for dinner. Rey was damn silent in the entire journey. They reached their farmhouse and had dinner with lots of fun and masti. The gang were enjoying in the living room when rey left the place and suddenly Taani's phone started ringing. "Haan Leena? Anything important?" she asked."Yea mam, sir asked me to check the details for the deal with Mr.Gupta""Oh ok! with whome are we competing for the deal?" "Mr.Kundra." said Leena."Are you kidding. He quickly excused himself and went away from the rehersal hall.On the other hand Taani's heart felt a bit light remembering the fact that "atleast there was someone who trust's her." She left Shivam near the entrance after biding him goodbye. Everyone had gone to sleep. She was walking in the living hall when Ramu kaka approached her. "Kya hua kaka??""Beti saare rooms a renovation work complete ho chuka hai. Ab 2 rooms tyaar hai. Aap Rey baba ke saath upar shift ho jayiye!""Nahi kaka. Sab ek saath time spend karne keliye yahaan aaye hai. Toh I think ab jaise bhi hai wahi teek rahega.""Par bitiya...""kaka mei Rey ko inform kardungi. Kal milte hai.Gud nite!" she said with a smile and moved to her room. Little did she knew that Bharat and Vishaka who were passing the room heard her conversation with kaka. Bharat and Vishaka stood there confused unable to conclude anything from Taani's dialogues.
