First Day

(Sage's pov)
     "Sage wake up!!! Your going to be late for your first day of school!!" My mom, why is she so silly!! I've been homeschooled for 3 years now, I'm in 9th grade and I finally decided...oh yeah!! My eyes fly open, "The first day of school!!!" I squeal. I get out of my purple sheets and put on my uniform.

        It kinda sucks that our school has uniforms. My uniform is a short, black, pleated skirt. I tuck in my white button up and fold the sleeves up to my elbows. I wear knee high black socks and cute sneakers since I can pick out my shoes. I finally get downstairs and eat breakfast, my favorite, pancakes!

       I can tell my mom knows I'm nervous. "Honey, your first day will be fun! Just no boys!" Well...that eliminates half of the people I can be friends with...but I'm sure they won't even be looking because...to perfect my already nerdy uniform, I have to wear thick, black framed glasses. But I like my glasses. I finally get out the door, my school is near my house so I just walk.

       I got a text from someone...well, not just someone, my best friend. We played video games a lot together and his gamer tag is Hiro_Natsu. It's from an anime he and I watch. He always calls me Looneyflower, because my name, Sage, is a flower, and well...I'm pretty crazy. I was pulled away from my thoughts and looking at my phone because someone rudely knocked into me. "Hey!" I said as I stumbled.

Someone caught me. "Watch out there!" He said. "In Kevin, and you are?" "Sage." I said "Cute name, so, are you new? You have that lost...freshman look in your eyes." He said laughing. He said. Way to start out the year...I can't believe that kid knocked into me like that...I wonder who he is...

I continued walking into the school. I could tell people didn't recognize me...plus, according to Kevin I have that 'lost freshman' look in my eyes.

      In the main hall of this school, there's a bunch of tables, advertising clubs, and finally I found the table where I can get my schedule. I eagerly get my schedule...first class: English.

Okay...this should be easy enough. I briskly turn around and bump into someone. "OUCH!" He yells, I dropped all my things onto the floor. He turns around. It's Kevin. "Let me help you..." He says picking up my things and leading me to my first class.
