Break Her

Chapter five

"What?" I say dumbfounded.
My mind went completely blank.

Did he just say he would carry me?
This is un-real.

"I can carry you." He says confidently.
Taya and I share a look.
"Are you sure?" Taya says looking at him.

He nods. "I said I could, so I can."

I was actually really afraid because I'm way too heavy.

He cant possibly lift me.

Im sure even john cena couldnt even lift me.

"B-but you cant." I say nervously.

He rolls his eyes. "Watch me."

Fear over comes me.
"Isnt there another option?" I say nervously chuckling.

Taya rolls her eyes. "Im sure you dont want to wait here and bleed to death while we go and get a teacher."

I give her a sheepish grin. "I can manage."

Grayson stares at me. "I insist. Let me carry you."

I sigh before looking down.

"You cant. Im.. i-im too heavy.." I say embarrassed.

He scoffs. "Yeah right. I can carry you. Just let me."

I stay silent.

For a few seconds, all you can hear is the waterfall. Strangely enough, the peaceful vibe doesnt calm me.

I see grayson sit down next to me.

He takes his hand and pulls up my chin.

Then He turns my head towards his.

I keep my eyes on the ground.

"Look at me." He says quietly.

I slowly move my eyes to his.

"I am strong enough to carry you. You arnt 'too heavy'. And I can prove it. If you just give me the chance."

Our closeness was suffocating me.

After a few seconds, I look away from his strong gaze.

"Please." He pleads.

I sigh in defeat. "You can try but I wont promise you anything."

He smiles before standing up.

Did he really mean what he said?
Why was he acting so weird? Was he being nice?

I see taya looking at me and grayson with a 'what just happened' kind of look.

Grayson goes to pick me up bridal style.

Surprisingly he picked me up as if I was a sack of air.

I looked at taya shocked and she looked at me surprised.

Silence fills the air. It was heavy, and uncomfortable.

"H-how did you do that?!" I speak nervously.

Grayson smirks. "I am strong afterall. And you are about as heavy as a piece of paper."

I roll my eyes. He was such a lier. It would be a matter of time before his arms collapse.

"Lets go shall we?" Taya says leading the way.

I awkwardly hold onto grayson as we walk back to camp.

I lay on my bed in boredom.

The nurse had told me that I sprained my ankle so I needed to stay off of it for a few days.
