#22 - Leaf
I
I was a leaf with a touch of yellow.
I was happy and lived in mellow.
On trees, I held on very tight
And everything was alright.
II
I could see everything from above
That I would always tend to love.
At day, I could see a beautiful park.
At night, lights were lit in the dark.
III
One day, I saw you walking by.
Looking up to me, you didn't even try
'Coz someone already caught your eye
And then you left without a goodbye.
IV
I thought of you since that day.
I thought of the words for me to say.
I was afraid from it, but still happy.
Then I have decided for it, I was ready.
V
You came back after a long time.
I said to myself, "Now is the time."
I let go and let myself to fall
But you didn't catch me at all.
