Chapter 16 

Gary's POV

We've just dropped Brooke off at Chloe's parents house and now we're on our way to our double date with Robbie and his new girlfriend Alex. 

"What do you think she's going to be like?" Chloe asks as we pull up outside the restaurant, 

"You never know with Robbie" I laugh, "But he only asks me for my opinion when he's serious, so I can imagine she's going to be beautiful" I wink, 

"Keep your eyes to yourself" Chloe smirks,

"Rob and I have different taste, she may be beautiful, but so are you" I smile, 

"So cheesy Gary" She shakes her head and giggles. We get out of the car and walk in to the restaurant, I take Chloe's hand as we get shown to our table. Robbie is late like per usual, so it's just Chloe and I for the moment. 

"It's our first day living together and we're not even in" Chloe laughs, 

"Well we've already christened the bed, so that's one less thing we need to do" I laugh, 

"Shut up"Chloe laughs hitting me on the leg. We both look up when we hear Robbie's voice, beside him is standing a blond women, very stunning. I stand up and shake Rob's hand and kiss Alex on the cheek,

"Hi, Gary" I introduce myself, "This is my girlfriend Chloe" I smile, 

"It's nice to meet you both, i'm Alex" A shy voice replies, 

"Hey Chlo" Rob smiles to Chloe before pulling out Alex's seat for her,

"Drinks?" I half laugh, 

"Yes mate" Robbie replies,

"Excuse me" I call over the waitress, "Can I get a bottle of wine please, the good stuff" I wink at the female waitress who starts to blush, 

"Of Course Mr Barlow" She giggles, 

"Flirt" Chloe laughs at me, 

"You get better service when you're kind" I wink. "Any way, Alex, where are you from?" I ask polietly, 

"I'm from liverpool" She smiles, 

"No way, they have a good footy team" I laugh, 

"The best" She smiles up at me, showing her white teeth, 

"How did you and Robbie meet?" Chloe asks, I  take her hand under the table,

"It was in a bar, he was very cheeky actually" She grins over at Robbie who is staring right in to her big blue eyes,

"Typicall Rob really, he's a cheeky lad" I smile, "Kind as anything though" I add, 

"Yeah, he's very two sided, cheeky but very emotional, i've noticed that" She smiles,

"Stop it, you're making me blush" He winks. The waitress comes back and pours the wine in to each of our glasses, 

"Cheers babe" I wink, 

"He's such a flirt, how do you cope?" Alex laughs with Chloe,

"God knows" Chloe grins, kissing me on the cheek,

"It's his laddish charm" Rob says,

"Ai, don't start calling me laddish Williams" I wink, 

"Back in the day Mr B" He throws a grin at me,

"Right, less of us, more about Alex" I smile at her, completly ignoring Rob now,

"Theres not much to tell really, i'm a teacher, I haven't been in a relationship for 2 years and I have a doggy" She giggles,

"Wow, what age do you teach?" Chloe asks, 

"Year 2, so 6 and 7 year old's" She smiles,

"Aw, that must be really nice" Chloe replies, 

"Yeah, it's the best job in the world" She smiles, "What do you do?" She asks Chlo,

"Oh, i'm a lawyer" Chloe smiles,

"Wow, big job" She laughs,

"It's not to bad" Chloe replies. After we've all finished eating, we head outside for some fresh air and a little walk, 

"Rob" I call him back as Chloe and Alex continue talking, about 20 feet in front of us, 

"So..?" Rob asks me, 

"She seems great Rob, I mean that" I smile, patting him on the back,

"She really is isn't she, and so beautiful" Rob smiles to the ground, like it's his first girlfriend, 

"Extremely mate, don't fuck this one up though" I say, winking at him, 

"I will do my very best Gaz" Rob laughs. We catch up with the girls and I snake my arm around Chloe's waist, 

"Alright ladies" I smirk, 

"Yep" Chloe winks, 

"You cold?" I ask her, 

"I'm fine Gary" She laughs, 

"Here" I take off my jacket and wrap it around her, and kiss her on the side of the head, she mouths 'thanks you'. We look over to Robbie and Alex who are kissing each other under a street light, 

"Come over here" I whisper, we walk over to the park across the road from the restaurant to leave Rob and Alex alone,

"She seems so nice Gary" Chloe smiles, 

"I told him that" I reply, taking a seat on a park bench and Chloe sitting on my lap,

"I'm quite tipsy" Chlo smirks at me, unbuttoning the top button of my shirt, 

"How tipsy?" I grin as she unbuttons my trouser buttons, 

"I'll show you" She smirks.
