This is it. I was finally behind the big wooden doors in my white Lacey dress, with my hair up in a bun and my heels giving me an extra two inches.
The wedding March was playing in the background and Jake was linking our arms together.
"Can you believe your about to walk down the aisle to your husband?" Jake asked as he looked at the floor.
His eyes were watering.
"I love you Jake. No matter what... I forgive you for leaving. I would've too if I had the chance. I just need you to know that I have no hard feelings for you."
I said this in all honesty and I have never seen Jake so happy.
The wooden doors fling open, interrupting our brother sister moment.
My breath hitched in my throat.
Sam and Katie already in their spot on stage.
Katie smiles and Colby's mouth drops, as tears stream down his beautiful face.
He looks beautiful.
We reach the end of the aisle and Jake stands next to Sam.
As the preacher spoke, my mind was fixated on the love of my life.
Colby was smiling so hard.
When the preacher said to exchange rings, I smile the brightest smile.
I slide the ring me and Sam picked out onto Colby's finger, and he slid the ring that Katie and Colby picked out onto my finger.
It was so beautiful.... as was the man who I was marrying.
"You may now kiss your bride." As the words left the preachers mouth, and Colby's lips met mine, and everyone stood up and cheered as flowers were thrown at us... it finally sunk in.
My initials are now B.B. and I will never stop freaking out over the fact that I hold the last name of the man of my dreams.
