A bear, a snake, and a mouse were engraved on the diamond ball. Bob Jones walked around it, searching for any more of the strange symbols. He was examining the bear when he saw something out of his eye. It was the snake. He swore he had seen it flick its tail. Bob looked away and examined the bear some more. There it was again. Bob studied the snake. It's just a carving on a piece of diamond, Bob told himself.
Then the snake moved again. It raised it's head then started to move out of the ball, forming into a real snake instead of carvings on a ball. It snapped its teeth and hissed. It looked ready to kill.
