Lilly observed the dusty library of the museum. "As you can see here," said the guide, "there are books everywhere. Books are something you read."

"They know that," her teacher snapped.

That left the guide wordless for a moment, then he continued. "Over here is the desk where all new information goes." He paused.

"What's that?" A boy in Lilly's class asked.

"What's what?"

"That thing in the jar. It's right next to the computer."

"Oh...that?" the guide didn't look happy. "It's a heart."

The class stepped back, scared. The heart seemed to be moving. That was when Lilly realized it was still beating.
