"Mommy? Can you check my room for monsters?" Lucy asks.
"Sure honey," Lucy's mother, Elise kisses her forehead. She first checks under the bed, then the closet. There is nothing suspicious in her room just heaps of clothing and Lucy's dollhouse. "All clear!" she calls.
Elise is just about to leave when the dollhouse's lights flick on. She turns them off. They turn back on. That's strange, she thinks. That's when she hears a voice. "Elise. Come closer. I can smell your blood."
Elise slowly backs towards the door but realizes it's locked from the outside. Her eyes widen and then she screams.
Outside Lucy hears the screams. "Mommy? Are you there?" she asks, opening the door. She screams. Her mother lies on the floor, the blood sucked out of her. The door slams shut behind her.
"Now it's your turn," a voice says.
