"Woah." Was all Percy could say.

I already sensed something wrong. There was something dangerous in this place. Besides the weapons that were hanging from the wall. I gripped a charm from my bracelet that could change into my bow and arrow. Percy's hand went to his pocket where Riptide was kept, Thalia was rubbing her silver bracelet, and Annabeth was looking around as if thinking for a battle strategy. We were all thinking the same thing. A fight was coming.

"I wonder where-" Annabeth started to say but then the doors slammed shut behind us.

"Ok. Guess we'll have to stay awhile."

I heard music echoing from the other end of the hall. It sounded like dance music to be exact. We walked down the hall when we heard footsteps. In front of us was a man and a woman.

"What are you doing here?" The woman demanded.

"Ma'am, we're um just-" Percy began to say but then the man cut him off.

"Ha! Visitors are not allowed at the dance! You shall be ejected!" The man snapped.

Thalia stepped forward and snapped her fingers. A gust of wind rippled out from her hand, across the room. I knew what she was really doing.

"Oh, but we're not visitors, sir." Thalia said. "We go to school here. You remember: I'm Thalia. And this is Annabeth, (Y/N), and Percy."

The man narrowed his two-colored eyes but he seemed hesitated. He looked at the woman.

"Ms. Gottschalk, do you know these students?" He asked.

I looked at Percy who was biting his lip as if trying not to laugh.

The woman blinked as if she just woken up from a trance.

"I...yes. I believe I do, sir." She frowned at us. "Thalia. Annabeth. (Y/N). Percy. What are you doing away from the gymnasium?"

Before any of us could answer, Grover ran up to us, breathless.

"You made it! You-" He stopped when he saw the teachers. "Oh, Mrs. Gottschalk. Dr. Thorn! I, uh-"

"What is it, Mr. Underwood? And what do you mean, they made it? These students live here."

"Yes, sir. Of course, Dr. Thorn. I just meant, I'm so glad they made...the punch for the dance! The punch is great. And they made it." Grover explained.

Dr. Thorn glared at us.

"Yes, the punch is excellent. Now run along, all of you. You are not to leave the gymnasium again!" Mrs. Gottschalk said.

We nodded and Grover walked us towards the sound of the music. I felt the teachers' eyes glaring from behind us.

"How did you do that finger-snap thing?" Percy asked Thalia.

"You mean the Mist? Hasn't Chiron shown you how to do that yet?"

Percy shook his head. Grover stopped by the doors that had GYM on it. We hid our backpacks behind a trophy case.

"That was close! Thank the gods you guys got here!" Grover said looking a bit relieved.

Me, Annabeth, and Thalia gave Grover a hug. Percy gave him a high five. We haven't seen him for a few months.
