A Friendly Reunion

I woke up, but it wasn't in my bedroom. I was tied up with plastic ties and sitting on a plastic chair. Duct tape covered my mouth. I heard people whispering. "Dude, we're going to be so in trouble." One man said. "Shut up," one of the guards, who seemed to be in charge, said. "Since we have the child, General Hatch will have no chance but to do what we say or else she gets hurt." I rolled my eyes. There were about 3 of them. I used McKenna's power and melted the ties, chair, and duct tape in my mouth. I got up from the chair, or, plastic puddle. "You guys are in so much trouble." I said, my face red with anger. "Ms, umm we just brought you to.. uh..." One of the guards stuttered. I started sparking. "Why, I'm gonna.." Then 3 EGGs knocked down the door. "Freeze!" EGG Welch barked. All three guards raised their hands in defeat. "Drop your weapons!" He barked. Hey all placed their weapons on the floor. The EGGs were followed by about 20 guards, Torstyn, Bryan, Tara, and Quentin. They arrested the three kidnappers and EGG Welch went up to me. "Are you okay Lynn?" I nodded. He started leading me towards the door. "Wait." I said, stopping. "Guards, back away from the kidnappers." I ordered. "But miss-" I put up my hand to silence them. They stepped away from them. I put drowned their head I water and electrocuted them. I finally let them breath and they fell onto the floor, gasping for breath. "Let's go." I said turning around to the door that led us outside. The guards grabbed the 3 men and led them to the jail. We were almost in the middle of the forest. The three EGGs and I went up to my dad's office. "General, sir." Welch said, saluting. "We have retrieved your daughter." My dad stood up, walked over to me, and hugged me. When we stopped hugging, he said, "Who is responsible for this. Who kidnapped my daughter!" Dad yelled, pounding his fist on the desk. "I believe they are trainees 123547, 9876031, and 5743891, sir." Welch answered. "Make sure that they're tortured before they go down the chute. Make sure that they're the last ones to go. Give them a good view on what will happen to them." Dad said. "Yes, sir!" Welch snapped, walking out of the room with the glows and other EGGs. "EGG Welch." Dad said. Welch turned around. "Yes, sir?" Welch asked. "Where was the guard in Lynn's room at? There's suppose to be a guard there all the time." Dad said. "I believe he was knocked out." Welch answered. Dad thought for a moment. "Increase the security." "By how much, sir?" "I want a total of six high-ranked guards in her room at all time." Dad ordered. "Yes, sir." Welch saluted, and continued to walk out of the office.

I went back to my room. It was about 5:00 a.m. and I was still tired. I laid on my bed but couldn't sleep. I sighed. The six guards came into my room immediately. It was literally 5:01 when they came in.

I woke up at about 12:00. I got dressed, my casual cap, loose shirt, and jeans. Of course I was in my closet when I changed. I went outside to get some fresh air. I created a gun and Elgen uniform. I pulled it over my clothes and pretended to patrol. I had a special color on my uniform so the army knew it was me. I walked over to the Elgen ranch trucks. They were larger than normal pickup trucks. They were also a lot quieter. The first truck stopped just a few yards from a struggling bull. There were men that talked for about five minutes, then one of them went back to his truck and retrieved a rifle. He pointed it at the bull's head and fired. When the animal stopped moving, the men took rope from the truck and tied its legs together. Then they let out the wire from the truck's winch, wrapped it around the bull's torso, and began pulling it from the fence. As the animal was being dragged to the truck, one of the men pointed at a branch. It looked like it was cut. They went over to examine it, then they fell. I heard someone shout "hola, amigos!" Someone was there. I ran over towards the branch. People were robbing the guards. "What the." I said. Someone noticed me before I came over here. I was pulled down and a gun was at my chest. I could've used McKenna's powers to disintegrate the gun or take the water from it, like when I give water to create it, but I didn't. "Move one muscle and I swear you'll regret it." A built teenager said. "Michael?" I said. "I warned you." The teen said. "Wait." Michael said. "Lynn? What're you doing here?" "Uh, I live here, what are you doing here?" "Wait, you know her?" Another teenager said. He wasn't as built as the guy with the gun to my chest, but, still quite intimidating. "Of course the one day I don't have guards watching my every move. I guess that's what you get when you're stubborn." I sighed. Then Zeus and the really built teen started arguing over McKenna. "Uh, was I captured at the wrong time?" I said. Michael ignored me. Then Michael started yelling at his friends. Taylor came in and asked, "Are you okay?" "Oh yeah, I'm doing great," Michael said sarcastically. "My mother's being held captive by a sociopath, we're hopelessly outnumbered, and our friends are turning on each other while I lead them to certain death." Taylor looked at him for a moment, then asked softly, "Do you really believe that?" Everyone was looking at Michael. He swallowed. "I don't know what I believe." She took his hand. "So, um.. what now?" I ask. Then Michael suddenly remembered I was still here. "Dude, she's going to add suspicion if she's gone." Ostin said. "Don't worry, they think I'm just playing guard and hanging out in the jungle somewhere." I assured them. "Wait, you know her?" The built friend asked. Michael sighed. "Yes, this is Lynn. Lynn, this is Jack, Wade, and.. you've met the rest." Michael said. "Nice to meet you, well, not with this gun, but.. all in all it's nice." I said. "You can release her now." Michael said to Jack. "Lynn is the daughter of Hatch." Michael continued. Everyone that didn't know me gasped, which, was only Jack and Wade. "I bet she's gonna rat us out." Wade said. "I'm actually not. You see, I needed to go with my dad or else he would go harder on you." I explained. "He gets furious if I'm missing. Last night, I got captured by a few dumb trainees while I was sleeping and they took out my body guard. They thought I could be their way to blackmail my dad, but his army is way stronger and, well, you've seen me." I said. "Anyways, enough about me. You guys need to make up or else your arguing will cause suspicion and, it's really loud." I said. They apologized and, you know how it goes. I turned into water and teleported. Since I turn into new water when I teleport or turn invisible, I become completely clean. "Hey Zeus, I found out that I can make water that doesn't affect you." I said. "Really?" He asked. "Yeah." I said. "I'm not trying that thing first." He said. "Luckily for you, you're not the only thing I can test it on." I said. I created a puddle of emergency water and I created an electric rat. "Watch." I said. I poured the water that doesn't effect them. Nothing happened. Then I destroyed it by taking all of the blood away from them. Since blood is a liquid and all liquids have something to do with water, I could destroy it from existence. "Woah, why didn't you do that on us when we pulled you down, or not sooner?" "Because my dad doesn't know I have the power to do that and I'm on your side." "Why?" Ostin asked. "I just feel like something in my life is missing, and, I don't know... I think being with you guys will help me find out what that is." I said. "Wait, didn't you say that if you were gone, he'd go extra hard on us?" Michael asked. "Hmm.. probably not a good idea then. Yet." I said. "I'll just not rat you out. But I can't stop what they're doing. I was raised this way. I can deal with not ratting you out, but, I can't do anything more. Sorry." I said. "Now, you should go. Before they come. I'll tell them you went that way, ok?" I said. They all nodded. Then they ran away to the east. "Help!" I screamed, and guards came. "Miss! Are you alright? We've been looking all over for you!" The guard said, pulling me up. "Yeah, I found Vey and his friends." "What? Where?" He asked. "That way... I think. They had a gun to my chest and my vision was blurry. I was in shock at the moment, then they ran." I pointed west. Then a whole fleet of trucks zoomed by, heading to the west.
