"You look perfect," Autumn gushed, eyeing me.

"I don't look as good as you," I laughed, complimenting her shyly.

I was clad in what people who party every night wear. Or at least, that's what I felt like I was wearing.I was wearing a black dress, one that fell just above my knees. Autumn told me it complimented my curves, but I thought it was just too tight. My hair was straightened by Autumn and I had eyeliner, mascara, light pink lipstick and a shit ton of eyeshadow on. However, I was wearing black Primark flats - the only item that I was wearing that belonged to me; everything else was Autumn's. I also had a bunch of chunky metal bracelets on my arms, they were perfect at covering what I didn't want others to see.

She was wearing a red dress that was surprisingly short for something I figured she owned, and her hair was pulled up into a really tight ponytail, with all of her blonde baby hairs pulled back. She, too, was wearing flats and she had no make up on; only a bit of mascara. I sighed to myself as I watched her thin figure walk back and forth.

It was a Thursday night and a kid in Autumn's class had invited her and a bunch of others to go clubbing. She had insisted I come along since we had no classes tomorrow. I wasn't one for going out, but Autumn wouldn't take no for an answer.

"I guess we can go!" She smiled at me, grabbing her jacket and dashing out.

I followed suite, and we got into the taxi she had called and were droven to the club. In the taxi, I looked at the meter the whole ride. 2 minutes into the ride and the taxi had gone way over what I would be able to pay. However, as I looked at Autumn she seemed to read my mind, smiling at me. "It's okay, I'm paying." She had told me, her voice soft.

She didn't know much about me yet, she just assumed I was a broke kid from a broken family. I was that, a broke(n) kid from a broken family. But that wasn't everything. We reached the club and Autumn ushered me out of the car, staying behind to pay. I waited for her to come out and we went to join the queue to go inside.

"This place is pretty exclusive, we may be waiting here for a while..." Autumn explained, tilting her body to the side to try and see the entry. I shivered and looked at all of the people in front of us. Why did I agree to come? I also had the worry that we weren't going to be let in. We weren't 18 yet and the IDs Autumn had were very shitty, if I do say so myself. I chewed my link anxiously and zoned out after about five minutes, I found myself thinking back to me and Harry's kiss. I smiled at the thought and then Autumn's voice in my ear snapped me back to reality.

"Brenna, come on!" She whined, and I looked at her and frowned.

We had moved forward, but not enough to be able to see the entrance. "What?" I asked, confused.

It was then that I focused on Harry standing behind Autumn, on the outside of the line. He was dressed in a black shirt and black jeans, his hair pushed backwards as per usual. His face was blank and I looked away from him straight away.

"Harry said he can take us in, he knows people apparently," Autumn gushed, smiling gratefully at Harry. "We don't need the crappy fake IDs."

He nodded at her and I saw him, out of the corner of my eye, trying to catch my eye. I ignored him but stepped out of the line with Autumn, not wanting to wait. However, being the klutz I was I stumbled forward and Harry's hand grabbed my elbow, steadying me. I kept my gaze on the ground as I muttered a thank you, shaking his arm off of me. He exhaled and walked over to the front of the line, with me and Autumn following.

"Heyyy, Harry my man!" The security standing at the front of the line grinned.

Harry smiled at him, and this smile he did not attempt to hide. "Hey, Big Joe."
