Miku was speechless.

No words to write. No expression. No reaction. Nothing at all.

She just stared at Len, carrying a small bit of confusion on her face.

"I will protect you. I promise."

Those words... She wanted to hear them again...

It's like... My dream came true...

She smiled warmly, looking at the blonde-haired boy.

'Thank you for saying this.'

Len was really glad. He finally found someone who can understand him.

But, it's not the time to be happy yet.

"Miku, please tell me what happened to your family."

She looked at her piano.

'I will.'

Len was shocked. His family thought that her family was killed.

"This means..." He read the whole thing over and over again.

"It can't be..." Len said.

Miku looked at him with worried eyes.

"Miku, I need your help." He said.

'Help? What do you mean?' She wrote.

"I think this wasn't just an accident. Something is wrong.. It's like.. Someone did it.. Someone killed your family.."

'It's an accident, Len. What do you mean by "killed"?'

"It's like your family was killed by the same killer of my family." He said, rubbing his head furiously.

"Miku, do you know Kagamine Rin?" He asked her with a serious face.

'Of course, I know her! We were friends when we were young. She is older than me by about 2 years. Why do you ask?'

"I'm her younger brother."

Miku was confused, then she smiled widely.

'Really? Is she alright? Please tell me that she is in this school! I miss her! If she is here, tell her that'-

"She's dead." Len faked a smile.

Miku widened her eyes, dropping her pen soon after.

"Rin is dead.." Tears began to form in his eyes.

Len...

"I couldn't save her... She's gone... I lost her.."

No... Don't say that...

"I'm worthless... I'm useless... I don't even know why I'm still alive... I should've died.."

Len.

"I don't deserve anything in my life!"

"Len!!"
