The typical "honeymoon phase" of Oliver and I's marriage was quickly replaced with the "morning sickness phase", but I wouldn't have it any other way. Marriage was wonderful, my husband was beyond wonderful, and the sweet baby inside me was growing more and more by the day. I was currently about six months along and I was showing a good amount. I groaned as I walked out of the bathroom and into the bedroom, after a particularly rough patch of morning sickness, smiling slightly at Oliver's sleeping figure. He needed all the rest he could get these days, he had practice with Puddlemere for hours and would leave a few hours after lunch and come back home in time for dinner, take a shower and then go to bed. It was sort of a bummer, I really did want that time to hang out with him and talk or just read next to one another, but I knew that he was stressed and didn't want to bother him or anything.

"You alright?" Oliver mumbled, rubbing his eyes and propping himself up on his elbow.

"Yeah, fine. Usual morning sickness," I answered as I climbed back into bed, pulling the sheets up to my chest. I felt his hands slide around me and hold my bare stomach, as I was wearing only a sports bra and some athletic shorts, his thumbs rubbing gentle circles on my baby bump.

"Come here," he whispered as he leaned down and kissed my shoulder and I scooted back into his embrace, my back against his bare chest. I moved one of his hands from my stomach and held it in my own hands, moving the covers up further with my other hand.

"Your first game's coming up, you excited?" I asked, taking in a deep breath and nuzzling my face in the pillow.

"Mhm," he mumbled, his chin resting on the top of my head. I could tell that he was drifting back off to sleep, so I didn't want to force him to talk, so I just let it be. I smiled as I felt his grip on me tighten, a slight blush creeping to my cheek when I felt him press a kiss to my head. That's what I loved about us, no matter how many times he told me that he loved me or kissed my cheek, I still felt just as I had when we were in the early stages of our relationship; the butterflies, the blushing, the wistfulness and wonder-struck nature of it all.

As we lay there, I couldn't stay and relax; I felt like I had a million things to do and that I couldn't do anything to stop it. I was letting most of the housework; including bills, last minute finishing touches to make the house more of a home, and planning out the baby's room, fall onto my shoulders because Oliver was stressed out with quidditch, as before mentioned. I looked over at Oliver, making sure that he was fast asleep before I slipped out of his embrace, put on a shirt, and creeped out of the bedroom and into the living room, closing the door behind me. I grabbed a piece of paper and a muggle pen, quickly scribbling down a list of things I needed to do, whispering each activity under my breath to myself as I write it.

"Lunch with Weasleys later today, pick out paint swatches for nursery, get new books, blankets, and a rug for living room, shop for maternity clothes," I whispered to myself. I knew that it was a lot of things and that it could really rack up the dollars, but Oliver had assured me that he had already received a few weeks of payment and that it had been transferred to our joint Gringotts account, as well as the fact that he wanted me to treat myself to items like maternity clothes and that he wanted the best nursery items for the baby.

I looked over at the time, noticing that it was nearly 10:30 A.M. , so I walked over the the kitchen and made both myself and Oliver two pieces of toast each with jam and butter, dropping them on two separate plates, pouring two glasses of orange juice as well and walking with the glasses and plates into the bedroom. I set Oliver's down on his bedside table and pressed a kiss to his cheek, softly shaking his shoulder to wake him up.

"Why'd you wake me? I thought I mentioned that I needed more sleep," he grumbled rather moodily, causing me to take a second to respond as I was quite shocked he spoke to me in that manner.
