1 Week Later*

Conor was right; we were defiantly not staying away from each other. We were spending so much time together now we were practically always together, apart from when we’re sleeping and practising for the live shows which is coming up very quickly…and when I say quickly I mean today… I have picked my song and I’m ready but that doesn’t mean I’m as nervous as hell. I’m currently pacing in my room; the nerves were defiantly taking over. I flopped down onto my bed and screamed into my pillow.

“What’s wrong babe?” I looked up at Anna who just walked and sat down on my bed. “Nervous?” I nodded my head, slamming my face into the pillow again. “Babe, there’s nothing to be nervous about! What’s the worse that could happen?” I looked up at her again and raised my eyebrows at her.

“I could completely fuck up my song and go home on the first week and be embarrassed for the rest of my life and never step out of my house again.” Anna raised her eyebrows at me.

“Don’t you think you’re being a little over dramatic Alise? I mean, you’ve performed infront of a large audience before, this is exactly the same only millions of people will be watching you live-”

“ANNA! You’re not making me feel any better about this!” She laughed at my sudden outburst.

“Sorry girl, anyway, Show starts in a few hours, I need to start getting ready! Got to dress to impress!” She shuffled over to me and kissed my forehead. Anna was only a few years older than me and she was my best friend in the house. “Keep calm Alise!” She ran out of the door, off to get ready and I was left on my own again. I walked over to the bathroom and looked in the mirror.

“Alise, you look like shit.” My hair was a mess, I had bags under my eyes and my skin had several spots dotted all around my face. “Good luck make up crew!” I laughed to myself before turning on the shower. I stepped in and sighed to myself when the hot jets crashed onto my skin. I started to sing to myself while rubbing in the shampoo. “I stare at my reflection in the mirror why am I doing this to myself? Losing my mind on a tiny error,I nearly left the real me on the shelf. No, no, no, no, no...” I hummed the chorus of the song rinsing my hair out in the process. I heard a knock on the door but chose to ignore. There was another knock on the door and I sighed to myself. “Anna! I’m a little bit busy!” I heard the door open and I wrapped the shower curtain around my naked body. “Conor get the fuck out!” His eyes roamed over my covered body and I raised my eyebrows at him.

“That’s kind of see through you know, I can see your nipples.” I screamed at him to get out but he put his hand over his eyes and sat on the toilet seat. “I was just coming to see if you were okay.”

“I’m fine now get out I need to shower.”

“No, just put the curtain back over and continue to shower.” I sighed but knew he wasn’t going to leave anytime soon so did what he said. I began to clean my body when Conor began speaking again. “Ali?”

“Yes?”

“What’s going on between us?” I didn’t reply at first, I didn’t know what to say. “Ali?”
