I quickly left Dermot and went to my room just so I could be alone and have some time to myself for a while. I slumped down onto my bed but wasn’t left to think about how things went today as there was a little knock at the door. I moaned to myself before allowing the person in. “Come in!” I heard the door swing open and closed but didn’t look to see who it was. There was a dip in my bed and I rolled over to see Conor lying down next to me. “I think I fucked it up big time…” Conor looked me in the eyes and it was then I noticed it looked like he had been crying.

“That makes two of us then, I completely forgot the words and I had to start over, there is now a 99.9% chance I’m going home tomorrow with bad news.”

“Oh Conor…” I scooted over to him and he wrapped his arms around me. We stayed like that for what seemed like hours. “I still think you’re not going home you know…” he scoffed and I could tell he was looking at me.

“And why do you think that?” My eyes met his and I smiled up at him.

“Because one, you have an amazing voice and just because you forgot the words one time, doesn’t mean you’re ruled out of the competition, nerves just got the better of you. Two, you’ve got the looks, girls will like you and it will mean you will have a good shot with the public. And three, I can tell Simon likes you, I saw your audition and when you walked on stage a huge smile crept onto his face.” Conor smiled at me before closing his eyes. I thought he was asleep as the only sound was his quiet breathing. He surprised me when he spoke after a long time.

“You’re a kind girl Ali,” He placed one of his hands on my cheek and he shifted his body slightly. His face was now inches away from mine and I could feel his hot breathe fan over my face. “And so innocent…” His eyes roamed all over my face, making me blush slightly. “I like a girl who’s innocent…but I can tell you’re feisty as well. From the moment I saw you I was…drawn to you.” I didn’t know where he was going with this but I kept quiet, waiting for him to carry on. He leaned in closer and his eyes set on my lips. “Would you mind if I…” I shook my head slowly and I felt my heart rate increase as his lips were millimetres away from mine. He eventually closed the distances between our lips and his lips were soft against mine. They moved in sync and he slowly swiped his tongue across my bottom lip. I opened my mouth allowing him entrance and his tongue filled my mouth. I moved positions, our lips still connected, and placed my legs either side of his waist, straddling him. I moved my hair to one side, making sure it wasn’t in his face and I placed both of my hands on his chest. Eventually I pulled away, my lips still tingling from Conor’s touch. I traced my finger of my lips and smiled at the sensation I just received. I looked down at Conor who had his hands placed on my hips; his eyes were dark, black even.

“What was that all about?” I was still smiling and so was he.

“I just wanted to kiss you so badly and I couldn’t help myself being so close to you. I’m sorry-” I placed my finder to his lips, silencing him.

“Don’t apologise. You only apologise when you’re sorry and you defiantly shouldn’t be sorry about this.” I rolled off of Conor’s lap and lied next to him in my previous position.

“Well then, I’m defiantly not sorry.” I laughed and he joined in with me. “You look rather flustered, I’m glad I have this kind of effect on you Ali.” I scoffed at him.

“Please! Don’t flatter yourself.” I gave him a cheeky wink before getting off the bed and heading towards my bathroom.

“Where are you going?”

“Um…” I pointed towards the bathroom. “To shower?” Conor’s eyes brightened and I know what was coming next. “No you may not come with me!” His face fell slightly and I laughed. He huffed to himself and started mumbling.

“You’re no fun…”

I walked up and down waiting to be called to see Simon. I was so close to hear what would happen to me and I was petrified. There were two options for me right now. One, I could get on the plain that takes me back to the UK and I will do my best to win this competition or there’s option Two; I get on the plain back to the UK and go home back to Latvia and never see Conor or George again. I think it was fair to say that I was freaking out right now. But on top of that, I was also worrying for Conor. If he doesn’t get through then I will be having serious words with Simon about this. Seconds later someone grabbed me and told me Simon was ready to speak with me. I heard someone shout “FILMING!” So it was obvious all Cameras were on me right now. I walked over to wear Simon was sat and took a seat opposite him.

“Hey Alise.” I nodded at him and he smiled at me. “As you know I can take only 3 of you with me to the Live Shows and I want you to know that it was so hard for me to make a decision to pick only a selected few of you, because every single one of you here deserve to go through and It took me hours to make a decision but I believe that it’s the right one. Alise, I feel your age may put you at a disadvantage to the completion and that you might not be ready yet…” I couldn’t help but let a few tears escape my eyes. This was it, I knew what he was going to say. I looked down into my lap and let more tears roll down my cheek. “However…” I snapped my head up at him. “I believe that you have got it in you to do this, Alise, you have an amazing talent I wouldn’t want to let that go to waste, I’m putting you through to the Live Shows.” I began sobbing now, I couldn’t help it, I thought I was going home but I’m not. I’m through. This is too much. I got up and hugged Simon so tight that he made a noise indicating he was in pain.

“Thank you so much! I won’t let you down I swear!”

“I hope you won’t…We’ve got a real competitor here…”

“CONOR!” He turned around and he had a massive smile on his face. “How did you do!” I was running towards him and when I reached him he embraced me in a tight hug.

“I’m through Ali! I made it!” His face dropped slightly and he looked at me. “Wait…how did you do…” I beamed a huge smile at him and he could tell that I got great news as well. He wrapped his arms around my waste and spun me around. I couldn’t help but giggle and I couldn’t help the huge smile that spread across my face. Life Is great right now…
