Chapter 15

Justin's POV

"The way you look at Ariana really reminds me of my mom and dad.", Elaine said with a huge smile.

I held her tighter but gently, I whispered softly to her "What do you mean? Like how?".

She rolled her eyes and giggled softly to me "You like Ariana. You love Ariana. Are you her boyfriend?".

I couldn't help myself but a phrase from Ariana came across my mind "Generally , for matters under heaven, those closely involved cannot see as clearly as those outside.".

I chuckled at her cuteness as she's really adorable "You are still a kid, you don't even know what is love.".

She shrugged and simply responded with a reply "I know. The way you look at her is full of happiness, you smile when you are looking at her, just like my dad loves my mom, so they got me. This is love.".

I chuckled at her cuteness and pinched her cheek gently "Your dad and your mom must be very in love with each other.".

She held a genuine smile and nodded.

She showed me a necklace which was hung around her neck, she said with a huge smile "Here, this is my mommy and daddy. Aren't they lovely?".

There's a small photo in the necklace, she's right indeed. I returned her a smile and replied "Ya, they are really lovely.".

She giggled cheekily "Ya, Ariana told me before as well.".

I questioned her curiously by focusing the photo on her necklace "Elaine, where are your mom and dad?".

She told me with a huge smile "They had to work in overseas for a few months, so they dropped me here.".

I showed her a light nod and showed her my concern "Do you like this place?".

She nodded and said "Ya, I love it. I made a lot of friends over here. We play together. At first, I was kinda afraid as I was new, but Ariana helped me a lot to adapt with my friends.".

I turned my vision back on Ariana who was playing around with the kiss as well.

I couldn't help myself but a smile was formed on me after seeing Ariana's smile especially when she's playing with the kids.

Elaine noticed my action and chuckled "Justin, you like her. But you are lucky to love her. She's really a good girl and will be a good mother as well.".

She added "Last time, she used to come with a boy. She never told us about it but we think that guy was her boyfriend. He's really nice as well, just like you. Both of them used to come here every week but the last time Ariana visited here is alone. Since then, she never came here anymore.".

I widened my eyes in shock and questioned to myself in disbelief "Ariana had a boyfriend? She never told me about this.".

For a second, a thought came acorss my mind that Ariana used to tell me that she had a broken relationship in the church but she never told me anymore since then.

She shrugged and told me with a huge smile "Justin, if you love Ariana. Don't give up on her. Right people doesn't appear in the right time all the time, don't leave any regret in life especially in love.".
