The next day, I wore a pair of sneakers, jeans and a sleeveless flowy top. I wanted to look good. I let my hair open and put on some light lipgloss. I had to look good.
I entered the classroom. All the girls had created a group around Alberto. I was feeling so jealous! My veins had turned black and my fangs had started to show. I could bite and rip each one of those girls. Suddenly, Cady called me.
"Hey! You look good today. Anything special?"
I popped a pill as fast as I could.
"No, nothing special. Have you completed your homework?"
"Yea. You?"
"Yea."
"Oh no, Joanna, Alberto's coming right towards you. Lucky girl, catch you later!"
Cady whispered to me.
I turned back. "Hi!"
"Hi! Well I wanted to give you something..." He told me.
"What?"
"Umm, take this." He passed me an envelope. I opened it.
"Whats this?"
"My friend is hosting a party at his house, would you like to join me?"
This was the happiest time of my life!
"Yea, Sure!"
"Don't bring any boy with you, just come alone."
He winked at me.
I winked back, "Okay."
