Battlefield of Changes

Mike and a fight.

"No it's not. And if I ever get my hands on the person who did, I'll smash their face in. But you told the police! You...!"

"Marie that's enough." Mai Lee said. "This way..." She lead us down the hall to another room.

We all walked in to see Mike sitting at a desk.

"What are you all doing here? I'm so sorry..."

"We found the file! It was in the recycling it's been there all along!" Ryan insisted.

"Look, it was my file, I've checked it and it's all there so please just let Mike keep his job!" Carmen begged. She held out the file which Mike took and examined.

"I left this I'm my car! I know I..."

"Please!" I sighed.

"Apart from the colossal waste of time..." Began one of the council members.

"You mean I keep my job?" Mike asked in disbelief.

She nodded. We all screamed and cheered!

I threw my arms round Ryan's neck!

"You're amazing! Thank you so much!"

"Don't even mention it!" He said pulling away, a massive smile plastered on his face.

I then have Mike a massive hug as Ryan spoke with Carmen.

"I'm so glad you're not getting fired!"

"Me too! Alright everyone, fish and chips on me!" He yelled. We all cheered and went back to the minibus.

"Limbo limbo limbo!" Chanted everyone as we played the game. I'm awful at limbo but it was Mike's welcome home party so I'm not going to object.

"And the winner is... Drumroll please!" Mike announced. Floss and Toni started playing a drumroll on the giant inflatable balls that we had.

"Fin!" He shouted, pulling out a massive bowl of strawberries as Fins prize. "Where did you find the file?" He asked Mai Lee.

"It was you want it Kaz?"

"It was Ryan's idea" I heard Kaz say.

Ryan went off to the bedroom or bathroom probably. Mike shortly followed. I hope he's ok. I then turned to see Carmen glaring at me.

I walked over to her. Can't escape forever. Might as well start now.

"What do you want?" I spat as I reached her.

"I wanted to say sorry. I know I shouldn't have dobbed Mike in..."

"No Carmen. You shouldn't have!"

"I tried to make it better didn't I?" She asked, repairing her voice so that lots of people turned to look, all of whom I ignored.

"Yes you did! But you shouldn't have to in the first place!"

"I've said I'm sorry..."

"I don't care if you're sorry Carmen! I will never, ever forgive you for what you have done!"

She slapped my face. I instantly did the same. Ryan and Mike walked back in and both looked alarmed as Carmen lunged at me, knocking me to the floor.

"Carmen stop!" Mike yelled, coming behind her to try and pull her off. She had one leg on either side of my body and was punching me and I was punching back.

Carmen grabbed a chunk of my hair and pulled it hard.

"Aaarggg!" I yelled in pain.

She used her other to search my face as I was struggling. Then she used my hair to pick up my head, before slamming it back down on the ground!

I yelped in pain!

"Mike finally pulled Carmen off me and Mai Lee pulled me up and held my shoulders back to restrain me.

"You and Me...!" I yelled at Carmen who was also struggling to try and attack me again

"We will NEVER be the same! And we will never be friends!"

"Suits me fine!" She spat back.

"Marie, upstairs now. Go clean yourself up. Do you need anybody with you?" Mai Lee asked.

"I'll go with her" Ryan offered.

"Thank you" Mai Lee sighed, releasing me from her grip. I stormed up the stairs with Ryan following me.

A/N

I'm sorry for not updating much in the past two days! After the spam upload my mind went totally blank and I was feeling really down so I just couldn't find any inspiration. I did a bit of writing but it was forced and rubbish. I'm back at it again now though xxx
