~Love Story~

Amanda's P O.V.

I hurriedly ran towards my room and giggled when I can hear my mom's foot steps, I placed both my hands on my mouth trying to muffle all the giggle that's coming from my mouth. Then I hurriedly walk towards my bed, lied down and pretended as if nothing happened, a few seconds passed by and I could already hear my mom's heartbeat.

The door opened as I then closed my eyes, pretending to be asleep. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. Hi, I'm Amanda and I'm currently 6 years old, I have 8 sisters but one got lost when we were still young, up until now no knew where she is but mom and never ever lose wanted to surrender, in their hearts they both know that my sister is still alive. I have Chantal, the oldest, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Sunkyu, Yoona, Seohyun and of course me, Seohyun is the youngest among all of us.

I'm a hybrid, an offspring of a wolf and a vampire who became mates and fell in love with each other. But I have a very special sister, she's the eldest among us and is very mature, she's Chantal unnie, she's special because she didn't inherit any vampire genes from my mother, she's pure wolf but is an offspring of two different immortals.

In their time, in the past where my parents met each other, having a mate which doesn't have the same traits or is in your league forbidden, if you're a wolf then you should have a wolf mate, if you're a vampire then you'll both live eternally.

"Still not yet asleep Amanda?" Asked mom, her eyes turned red as I began to open my eyes and sat up from bed, mom knows whenever we lie or not. Dad said I'll be able to learn how to use my powers when I reach the right age and time, no one knew what powers I might posses and even my sisters also don't know.

"I couldn't sleep all alone mommy, those demons I watched keeps on floating in my mind" I spoke truthfully, I was scared that maybe they'll all just pop up everywhere so I tried to wake mommy up but I also keep om hesitating, I don't know what to do. Mom sighed as she opened the door wider and walked towards the foot of my bed, she sat beside me and gave me a kiss on my forehead giving me a fluttery feeling.

"I told you not to hang out with Sooyoung and Hyoyeon, they love watching horror movies while you and Chantal are both romantic girls. Next time don't ever go with them okay?"

Even if it's true I still don't want to admit it, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon loves making fun of me and they're always using horror films to scare me when they're feeling bored. I might be older than them but they're too playful for me and even Chantal unnie to handle.

"Then can you just tell me your story mommy? I want to sleep earlier but I'm too bored to read all my books here, so can you jut narrate one?" I pleaded, I want to forget the bad and evil things I saw earlier and before I can do that, I have to hear or read something first.

"What kind of story do you want?" A small smile appeared on the corner of my lips as I already thought of the perfect story, I think i'd be able to have sleepless nights because of the love story I'll hear...

"Hmm, maybe your love story with daddy? Can you tell me how you and a wolf like daddy met?"

Mom smiled ever so brightly as she gently caressed my cheek and tucked a fringe behind my ear, I stared at him looking forward to her story as I never really heard the whole story. And now that she's going to tell me the story, I feel so hyped and overjoyed.

"You're the curious one aren't you? Come here, mommy will grant your wish" Mommy patted the space beside her on the foot of my bed as we then both faced the window where mommy keeps on looking at earlier.

"Once upon a time, there lived a very beautiful and smart vampire who was always curious of her surroundings, she was the only daughter of the White Clan. That time, that vampire was very hard headed, she doesn't like to be imprisoned in their house but since it was her father's command, she tried to follow his orders first. But when the tenth time comes, she began to disobey her father"

"Then what happened next mommy?" I asked in curiosity when she stopped, she pulled me in her arms but I was a bit frozen because of how cold her skin is.

"Well, that vampire ran out from her house and went deep inside the woods. She was wondering and asking herself why her father, the leader of the clan keeps on telling her not to go beyond the borders, and why isn't she allowed to go there on her own. Her questions were finally answered when she suddenly bumped into an warm like thing"

"Warm like thing? Was that daddy? I remember holding his hand which surprised me because it was so warm" My father is a wolf that is so warm but my mother on the other hand is a vampire and is freezing cold, seems interesting isn't it?

"You're right, it was your dad who I bumped in to. He was so warm which is the exact opposite of my temperature is, he has brownish yellow eyes and a skin tone that is almost near to humans.. I remember envying him because of that"

I held mommy hand to stop her from talking as I could hear another heartbeat coming closer to us, the door opened as daddy's head suddenly appeared... what happened to his body?!

"Talking about our love story? Shouldn't I be the one who's going to tell them that?" Daddy chuckled and took stridding steps towards my bed, he placed a kiss on mommy's forehead and sat infront of us.

Between mommy and daddy, daddy is more romantic that you'll ever know, I don't know if it was just because mommy's heart is a bit frozen too that she can't always express her emotions to us. But I know deep inside, they both love each other even with their differences...

"I thought you were already tired daddy? I just asked mommy to tell me your love story because I couldn't sleep" And not to mention daddy was a good story teller, mom usually never sleeps but lately she sleeps at night, either with me, with Chantal unnie or mostly with daddy.

"I'll continue the story, where did you stop?" I just watched as my parents interact with each other as wide smiles appeared on their faces, they love remininsing happy memories just like this.

"When we bumped to each other"

"Well as you know it Amanda, in the past werewolves and vampires are arch enemies, we hurt each other or hunt each other. We should never be seen together because that just means war, we are forbidden to be together because all we can ever do to each other is kill and kill. When I bumped to your mom, I began to feel sparks, I felt numerous emotions in my mind. I stared at your mom with love as she also did with me, then we both realized that we are mates"

Mates, these are two different people, or wolves that are bound together by fate, they will cherish and love each other no matter what happens. Usually this magical thing happens only in wolves, in vampires on the other hand, you can choose to mark your chosen mate. So learning my parent's love story is a bit complicated...

"Everyone was against us, not just only because we both have different powers but because we are also the son and daughter of a powerful pack both in our clan and our pack. We've gone in to many hardships but we still fought for each other, time comes when both our packs and clan finally realized that we can never be separated from each other because we are mates and we are destined to be with each other"

"A few years passed then we finally had Chantal, you, Tiffany and all your sisters but it's a bit sad that up until now... we still couldn't find your lost sister" Mom spoke, the atmosphere suddenly becomes gloomy as we remembered my sister.

According to my parents, we were once attacked here in the pack, we lost many pack warriors but we also lost our sister, she was still an infant back then and we still haven't given her a name yet. I could remeber I was 4 when that incident happened, I held both my parent's hands and gave them an assuring squeeze.

"We'll all find her mommy, daddy, don't worry" I will do everything just to find her...
