NEW BEGINNINGS

It's been about a good three months since I've been attending my new college.

I haven't been to any parties from my brother or anyone else's since the incident two months ago. Therefore, I haven't had a drink in while.

I've been seeing Connor more than usual these past months. I told him about the party and he assured me that it's okay as long as I was drunk and didn't know what I was doing.

He doesn't approve of how I was drinking but he understands, he always does.

I think I love Connor. He treats me amazing and we almost never argue. When we do argue, it lasts like three minutes.

I wish that it could of been that easy with Scott. He wasn't loyal though. He didn't treat me well when we argued. We argued a lot.

Yeah, we didn't care because we were obsessed with each other for that one week but when we argued it was rough.

We would always make up in the end though. It's weird to talk about us because there was never truly an us to talk about.

I wish that he wouldn't have messed up. I wish that we could've been something.

I wish that he didn't basically cheat, even though we weren't dating, on me with Celeste Gustav. Out of all people!

Your probably wondering who the hell I keep on talking about. Celeste Gustav went to the same high school that Jake, James, and Scott went to. Scott used to hook up with her on a daily bases.

He would brag about it to all the guys and she would brag about it to all the girls.

Once I made the mistake of sitting at the same table as her during lunch time. Let me take you back to the time.......

"So tell us about lover boy!" Sally Duncan practically screams.

"Yeah are you guys still hooking up-," Mandy squealed before getting cut off.

"How many times how you guys done it," another nosy girl asked.

This one really got me

"Are you guys like.. A thing!!" Sophia, her best friend yelled.

Celeste looks down on me as she sets her tray on the table. She glances at me with a huge smirk before she begins to get into detail.

I wince and shut my eyes as she explains in great adjectives how wonderful sex with him was.

'Sensational'
'Unimaginable'
'Phenomenal '
'Breathtaking'

When I couldn't take anymore of it I decided to stand up and walk away. I didn't need to throw the trash away from my lunch meal. It would rather stay with its own species.

"Why are you leaving so soon Val," Celeste speaks up in her mocking tone that I can't stand. "We only have one more year together and then I'm gone..."

She decides to pout to try to look all innocent and cute. I almost vomit at the sight of it.

"Out of your poor excuse of a life! However, Scott and I...." She smirks widely, too much for her face.

"We.will.always.be around.each other," she says the last part of her rant slowly, her smirk getting wider with each word being said.

All of the people sitting at the table start to laugh at her snotty comment and some of the guys from our year, some older, start to walk over to where we are.

"Hey Celeste..."  She looks at me as if what I'm going to say is the stupidest thing in the world.

If she thinks that I'm going to humiliate myself right now, then she's surely mistaken.

"Has anyone ever told you that your a malicious, derogatory, narcissistic bitch," I state all in one breath.

I hear loud gasps from people sitting in the table but I don't give a fuck what they think.

Thought I was going to stay quite? Fuck no. My mother taught me better than that.

Once someone talks down to me, I'm like a dragon that only goes for the kill. Celeste Gustav is my target.

The guys arrive at the table and Celeste's face is a deep shade of red. She's screaming rage but doesn't want to give me the satisfaction.

"I thought you were leaving," she says angrily through her teeth as one of the guys rubs her back.

"I was," I state and that was the last time I ever sat at that table.
