Reality check
I'm still processing how summer went by so quickly. I decided to transfer colleges so that I don't have to go to school that far from my family.
Now I'm going to be entering Brookville University. Alone.
Scott never asked me out and I got an apartment three weeks after Scott got my bags from Gavin's.
I left Jakes home as soon as possible because of what had happened the week after I moved in.
Scott and I weren't official or anything but we had something going on.
Therefore, when I saw him grinding against a girl on nowhere other than the kitchen counter, I thought that I should leave so that I wouldn't end up cutting a bitch.
I kept my distance from him and my brother all summer. Wherever my brother was, was where Scott was.
I visited my mom every weekend and I completely avoided the beach.
There was only one in town and that was the one that Scott occasionally worked at. I wasn't going to take the risk of going.
He wasn't looking for a commitment, even with me.
Besides, I met someone else and I've grown to have feelings for this person. His name is Connor.
He's definitely the complete opposite of Gavin and he, unlike Scott, actually wants to date me.
I however, always feel hesitant to be with him and I have no idea why.
He seems like a good guy and all but I'm just afraid that if I see Scott again then all my feelings towards him will come back.
