Right now me and Darnell was in bed and was going to sleep until heard someone knocking at the bedroom door

"Come in " I said

I saw lay come in with her Tiana doll close to her with tears in her eyes.

What's wrong sweety

"I-I had a dream about rah" she said

"I'm scared"

"Come on princess you come sleep with us" Darnell said making space between us

She quickly got in and went to sleep.

I know this is not the only time she will be in here, I hated she had to witness the only friend she have almost die.

The following Morning.......

Darnell Pov........

I woke up to my phone ringing. I check to see if Lila and lay was awake but they was still sleep. I'm just now realizing lay slept with her thumb in her mouth. I quickly took a picture of her and Lila and saved as my lock screen.

I answer the phone to see who it was.

"Yo" I said going in the living I didn't want to wake them up.

"Dee they got me" Tahj said whispering

"What" I said in disbelief

"Who got u" I don't know what he was talking about but I getting angry

"Some of Dre dem niggas" Tahj said

My blood started boiling. Now the bitch nigga wanna mess with my family.

"I was heading to basketball practice when they got me" Tahj said

"where are you now " I said

"man I don't even know. I think I'm some abandoned wear house" "but Dee plz come get me I think they planning on killing me soon" Tahj said

I heard laughing in the background

I hung up the phone because I didn't want hear those gunshots.

I was angry with myself because I was suppose to protect him and now I might have been too late.

"Darnell is everything ok Lila said softly coming up to me I stopped her before she could get any closer.

By then the girls came from the back to see what was going on. Lay was still rubbing the sleep out of eyes.

"Darnell just tell me what's wrong"

"Just leave me along I just need sometime to myself" I said closing my eyes to keep calm.

"Apparently not you're sha-"

"I SAID JUST LEAVE ME ALONE WHAT THE FUCK DONT YOUR FAT ASS UNDERSTAND"

I didn't even realize I had Lila pinned up against the wall.

she stood their shaking against my touch. She stared in my eyes like I was a monster.

"Let me go" she said calmly

I instantly let her go

" Lila I'm sooo sorry"

She ignore me.

"Where you going with them" I said

"Some where far from here since you need time to yourself." Lila said putting lay on her hip and Ky to grab her hand.

I blocked the door cause I needed them here with all this stuff I'm going through.

"Move Darnell" Lila said with so much hatred. I never seen her looked this way before.

"Lila I'm sorry for what I did but I need you here" I said sincerely I've never begged for any one presence but I really needed her

"You think yo little ass apology gone make me stay here"

"Please I'm sorry I didn't mean to put my hands on you like that"

She looked at me like that didn't phase her.

"MOVE OUT MY WAY DARNELL BEFORE I CALL THE COPS ON YOU AND I MEAN IT " she said with no remorse.

I finally move away from the door and watch them leave. My heart felt so empty without them already.

I know I just made the biggest mistake in my life and that's putting my hands on Lila.

Ain't no telling when I'm gone see her again.
