"Oh hey I didn't mean to interrupt you I'm just coming to give you your release forms so you can leave bright and early tomorrow"

"Oh you straight miss....."

I was looking for her name.

"Oh Nurse Emily baby" she said smiling at me

That name sound familiar.

"Well thank you miss Emily" I said smiling at her.

"No problem baby let me know if you need anything"

"Oh! I almost forgot I will be back with your crutches later on."

"Ok"

"Wait ! "I said stopping her

"Um do you have any kids"

"Ugh yea I have one son"she said looking at me suspiciously.

So that is his "mom" I thought.

"Your son name Khalil"

"Yes ! That is my baby how you know him. " Her face lighten up when I said that.

"That's my um....  big brother" I said looking down.

"Ohhhhh you're the Darnell my son has been talking about"

"Really"

"Yess he has been trying to find you for a year now."

"I'm assuming your mother is Rebbie Daniel"

"Yea how you know her"

"We all use to be friends back in high school but things happen and we went our separate ways. " she said looking down.

I wonder what happen my mother have never mention her before.

It was quiet for lil while until Lila came out the restroom.

Miss Emily laughed at us

"Y'all are so cute. Y'all remind me of me and my husband when we were that age."

"It's ok don't feel sorry for me it was just the fact he got caught up in some mess but that was over years ago."
