Jace Herondale - I'm naturally blond!
This problem occurs in every cliché fanfiction; the OC is blond. For those who are naturally blond(me and xXWMbeXx ) we find it odd that so many OC's have blond hair. Blond is the second rarest hair colour, the first being ginger, so please don't use blond all the time! I mean brown still exists!
Also why if your OC is a blond do you feel the need to give them blue eyes? Sure, I have blue eyes, but they hardly come part of the package with blond hair! Yes, yes, yes you want your OC to look like Barbie or be 'the perfect figure' but please, darling, there are normal people out there in the big wide world who come in different shapes, different sizes and we all have different looks.
The most common eye colour is brown, the most common hair colour is brown, the most common skin colour is black or brown! All the other colours are mutations. At one point we would've all had these features!
So please next time you think about having an OC with blond hair remember IT'S NOT THAT COMMON TO HAVE BLOND HAIR!!!
PLEASE JUST GIVE IT A BREAK!!! HAVE SOME DIVERSITY!!!
