"Christine, thank goodness your here I really need your help." I said pulling my friend into my dressing room

"Meg what's the matter?" She asked

"I'm having dinner with Nadir tonight and I have no clue what to wear. I brought two dresses, I didn'tknow which one I liked best." I said looking at the dresses hung on the costume rack

"Well which do you want to wear?" She asked looking at them,

"I don't know Chrisy, I've never been on a real date with someone before. I don't know what I'm doing! This is all so new to me I have no idea what to do."

"Alright calm down, I'm sure whatever you choose to wear will be fine. You want to stay calm, freaking out won't help anything."

"Okay, I'll wear the yellow one." I said grabbing it off the rack and walking behind the changing screen. I took off my outfit I was currently wearing off and grabbed my corset, "Christine could you help me?" I asked

"Of course." She said grabbing the laces and pulled on them tying them off at the bottom, "There." She said

I thanked her and pulled the dress on. Afterwards she sat me down and pulled my hair into an up do with a few stands of blonde curls framing my face. I looked at my self in the mirror before turning and giving her a hug, "Thank you." I said

"What is it like Christine? Knowing you've found the person you want to spend your life with?"

"Meg, you haven't even gone on one date." She chuckled

"I know! I'm just asking!" I laughed

"Well, everything seems to fall into place. You're happy, and you accept them and they accept you. It's hard to explain, but sometimes you just know."

"Thank you." I smiled

"Anything for a friend." She replied, a few seconds later a knock sounded at the door.

My heart began to pound and my palms became sweaty. I took a deep breath and stood.

Christine answered it and I looked over her shoulder at Nadir who was wearing a nicer suit then usual, "Meg you look lovely." He said as I stepped out from behind Christine

"As do you." I responded. He help out his hand and I took it, "shall we go?"

"Yes, right let's go." He smiled

I watched Meg and Nadir down the hall. I made sure to shut and lock the door before I left to the carriage which would take me back home. Half way through the day I had come to the theater to meet up with my family for lunch as I usually do. Afterwards Meg had caught me in the halls and asked for my help.

The carriage pulled up in front of the house and I thanked the driver pulling my key out of my purse and unlocked the door. Like usual Ava had hidden herself in her bedroom to draw. She does enjoy drawing, not as much as music but still. Erik was located in the music room at the piano.

"Hello dear." I said placing my hands on his shoulders

"Hello angel." He looked up with a smile, "Christine, will you go get Ava. I wish to speak with her about what we were talking about earlier."

"Oh yes." I said exiting the room and heading to my daughters bedroom, "Ava." I knocked on the door, "Your father wishes to speak with you."

"Yes mother!" She called from inside opening the door seconds later

We got to the music room and she sat on the couch located across from the piano.

"Ava, your mother and I were talking and we are going to enroll you in a private school." Erik said

Over the past few weeks we've been talking about getting Ava into school again, there was a private school not to far away. She attended a private school when we were in France.

"Okay I guess I need to go back at some point." She agreed

"Good, I'll contact the instructor and get you enrolled."

It was silent for a few minutes before another topic was brought up.

"Mother you worked at the opera house in Paris right?" Ava asked

"When I was younger, yes."

"Yes well I made some friends the other day and I had mentioned how I grew up in Paris, we started talking about the opera house. My friends father went there the year it was destroyed, he said it was due to a ghost. Is that true?"

I looked towards Erik, he looked paler the he usually is, "There are no such things as ghosts dear, what happened to the opera house was an accident, there was a mishap with some of the gas for the lamps." I responded

"Your right, it's just a silly story but I wonder what happened to the singer in it, what happened to her?"

"I don't know dear but maybe when your older we can go to the opera house." Erik said giving her a smile

Erik began to give Ava another piano lesson. I sat and listened admiring how much she has learned in such a short time.

After an hour I began dinner. I made something easy that wouldn't take much time. Chicken and vegetables.

I boiled the vegetables and let the meat cook. Once it was ready we sat and ate.

After we finished eating, Ava excused herself to get washed up for bed. Getting tired myself I sat with my fiancé on the couch resting my head on his shoulder as he continued to read a book. We sat in a blissful silence. I began to wonder how Meg's time with Naidr is going, I would have to ask her tomorrow.

My eyes began to get heavy so I knew it was time for me to go to sleep.

"I'm going to get some sleep dear." I said yawning

"Go ahead I'll be in shortly angel." Erik said kissing my hand

"I love you." I said placing a kiss on his cheek and going to change

"I love you too."
