Chapter Thrity Five - It's Angela, not Princess

"I... Uh..." Kendra stared at Liam confused. "Dude, it's a yes or no question!" snapped Maddie.

"Whoa, whoa. Why are you yelling? Inside voices!" winked Drew, who came out of nowhere.

"What are you doing here?" snapped Maddie.

"Mrs. Crossgrove wanted to see Liam and Angela." Drew smiled. "Wait, we wanted to-" Drew interrupted Maddie by raising an eyebrow. "Hey, they have to go. You know how Mrs. Crossgrove is."

He lead us away from the foursome. "Thanks." I said. "No prob. I am your protector, right?"

"Who do you have next?" Liam asked me. "Technology." I answered. Drew pulled me over. "Liam is just like Jared, except he's not interested in love. So you're safe to be around him. Except he can make anything possible. He's a wizard." said Drew.

I glanced at Liam and nodded. "Thanks, Drew."

"Oh really?" asked Liam, smiling, looking ahead. "We have the first two periods together."

I turned my head towards Drew but still kept my eyes of Liam. "Then why is he..."

"Oh," laughed Drew. "Don't worry. He only sees you as a sister."

I gave a weak laugh, "That's good." But then, inside me, it stung a bit. Only... a sister... huh?

"See ya." waved Drew as we got to our next period.

Melissa beat us to her computer already.

So did Elliot, sitting next to my computer.

Mrs. Crossgrove assign a computer to Liam right behind me. I took my seat next to Elliot. Even though he wasn't looking at me, the air felt heavy.

I started to swaet slightly and breath deeply. I kept swallowing my siliva and warmed up my knckles. I've never been so nervous around a boy like this before. As soon as Mrs. Crossgrove left, Austin turned around and skid towards me. "What's wrong, Angie?" he asked. I shivered my head no.

Austin was one of my good good guy friends. I always let him get away with calling me Angie, since he's like a backup brother. He's reall short, about to my shoulders and his blonde bangs are bangs are brushed weirdly, like a 90s style. His bangs stick up from one side naturally.

He rose an eyebrow. His eyes curiously glanced at Elliot then he mouthed, "Do you think he's cute?"

I started to blush, "No, it's nothing like that." Austin sneered. "Don't worry, Ang, your secret is safe with me."

"What secret?" asked Elliot, getting out of his bubble and into mine.

"Oh, you're one of those new kids, huh?" asked Nic, turning around.

Elliot grinned, but it looked more of murderer's sneer. "Elliot Greenlaw."

Austin snorted as Elliot glared at him. "Nice name." he said sarcastically.

"Hey, be nice." said Nic, waving his finger at him.

"Snap at him for me, Angie." said Elliot, sloutching on his chair, crossing his legs with his legs open. I began to snap my fingers at Austin. "Me-yow!" said Austin, scratching the air. Trent began to laugh.

Elliot rolled his eyes and grabbed my arm. He began to rub his face on it. "Love me, Angela." he said, looking up at me. Soon his eyes widen. Everybody stared at us, shocked. Elliot glanced around.

Trent, who was a lot wider than Ellit, and who was my step cousin, grabbed Elliot from behind. "Who do you think you are?" he asked angerily.

Austin stood up. "Yeah," he agreed.
