Thunderstorms. They're terrifying. Having grown up in Texas you'd think I'd be used to them, but that wasn't the case at all.
Astraphobia is just something I've learned to live with.

"The national weather service has issued a tornado warning for Prince William County. Please take cover now." The monotone voice on the TV speaks.

Harry and I were already in our basement. Well, my parents basement. We're watching their house for the weekend.

Sighing, I lay my head in his warm lap. My stomach was churning with nervousness. The thought of a tornado tearing through Prince William wouldn't leave my mind. "I'm scared," I tell him for the fifth time this evening.

He begins running his fingers through my damp hair. I took a shower not too long ago. "We're gonna be fine, baby. Try not to think about it too much," he says quietly. I want to believe him, I really do, but I couldn't. What if we aren't going to be fine?

"Are you sure?" I shift to look into his eyes. He doesn't say anything. "Harry, I asked if you were sure." I poke his stomach. He then takes my hand and kisses it softly. A smile works its way onto my lips.

"Yes, Y/N. I wouldn't have said that if I wasn't," he assures me with a smile. "Now think about something else," he instructs.

And so I do.

I think about the two of us when this storm is finally over.

End of imagine. Thanks for reading. Prince William County is a real place btw. ;)

Stay in drugs and don't do school. Wait...
