Hope I got this right for you! This is based off of Romeo and Juliet, which I have never read or seen so I apologize in advance if I get something wrong. @CodeViolet gave me an out-view so I'm just going with that.

Jim Kirk was in love, at least he thought he was. At the age of sixteen he thought he knew love, and it was in his girlfriend, Rachel. She was young, gorgeous, truly stunning, but didn't respect Jim like she should. He loved her with all his heart, yet she treated him like dirt that got onto her new shoes.

Jim had to attend a party one night, a formal party. Woman wore dresses and had their hair done nice, while men wore suits and also had their hair nice. Jim Kirk didn't have a suit to his name. No hair gel or any products to make it look nice. He usually just did his best with water and a comb.

You sat at a table, unsure of what to do. You were never good at social situations, so this was incredibly different. People surrounded you, laughing, talking, all of them having a great time. You glanced around the room, observing people at the party your parents had decided to throw. One young man stuck out like out like a red beacon in a pitch black area. His hair was choppy, spiked and soft looking, but choppy. He just wore a T-shirt and a blazer, ripped jeans for pants.

He glanced over at you, a small smile flashing on his face before it disappeared. A young woman walked over to him and kissed him, handing him something from her hands before walking away, once again leaving him alone. The smile from his face faded as soon as she couldn't see him, he didn't seem happy with her.

The night dragged on as you were forced to dance with relatives, neighbors, and random boys your age. That other man always stayed in his spot, holding more and more stuff as the night went on. Although, at one point, that woman before had yelled at him and slapped him before taking her stuff and leaving, They most likely broke up, but every time he saw you he always smiled.

"I'm Y/N." You introduce yourself, smoothing your dress out before sitting by him. He looked over at you.

"Jim Kirk and if you're here to ask about what I'm wearing, save yourself the time and just walk away." He introduced himself, laughing to himself. You laughed too.

"What happened with you and that girl?" You asked, watching his face fall before the bright smile returned.

"She was my girlfriend. I thought I loved her, but then I saw someone else and realized how bad she treated me." Jim said, dropping the stuff he had in his hands that wasn't his and crushing them with his foot on the floor.

"And who was this person because I seemed to eye a handsome hot man tonight to." You say, hinting that it was maybe him. His dirty blonde hair and blue eyes were the perfect combination.

"So did I and she happens to be sitting right in front of me. Gorgeous hair, eyes, everything... including personality." Jim muttered, running one hand through your hair. You blushed and your heart melted, you never thought anyone could be like this.

Before you could even think, you kissed him. His lips were soft and warm, inviting. Neither of you wanted to move apart, the kiss igniting a spark that roared into a fire. The kiss progressed into longer and longer times, you two only moving apart for a few seconds to breathe before joining together in a long kiss once again.

"Y/N!" Your dad yelled, pulling Jim away from you and grabbing your arm. Both him and your mother dragged you out while Jim awkwardly sat alone, the rest of your family staring at him.

Jim was from a side your parents didn't want you conspiring with, but you wouldn't let that stop you from seeing him.
