9: Punishment

We arrived at SHIELD, I was beyond angry with this group. Clint Barton stood on the left of me while Thor stood on the right. Steve, Pebbles and Flame Brain were behind me while Tony, Reed, Sue, and Natasha were in front. I felt a small smack on my butt making my face go red.
"Don't even touch me, Mr Storm" I growled.
"Mr Storm... I like that" Johnny said.
"Shut up" I heard Pebbles mumble.
"Finally me and Pebbles are on the same page" I said as Pebbles gave out a chuckle.
"I'm starting to like this kid" he said.
"Don't get use to her. Fury decides what happens" Steve said sucking the life out of everything. Wow. Does he always do this? It's like he's talking about a dog saying don't get use to it because it goes back to where it belongs.
"Afraid so" said a women's voice in my mind.
I looked around at the sudden voice in my head. My eyes landed on a certain girl who watched me with a small smile. Wanda Maximoff.
"Hello Wanda" I said in my mind
I looked over at her and smiled. It's been years since I've seen her. Well when I went to Sokovia, I ran into her and her brother. Nice people.
"What did I tell you about getting into trouble?" She asked, you could her the smirk in her voice.
"Well you know I don't follow rules" I said as we got closer to Nick's office.
"You feel fear. Don't feel fear. Remain calm and don't snap" she said softly, "I know where Alison is. I'll protect her and not let anyone get to her. Understand."
"Understood" I said in my mind as they opened the doors to the office and Steve grabbed my arm pulling me towards a chair.
"Rogers! Remember she may be the enemy but she is a person too" Nick barked as Steve's grip loosened and I walked over to the seat and sat down in front of Nick.
"Hey Patchy" I said smiling.
"Mrs Harrison. I know exactly why you don't trust SHIELD" Nick said.
"Why is that?" I asked hoping he wouldn't mention my mother.
"Because two of my best assassins killed your mother. Your mother once worked for SHIELD. She was a great agent-"
"Wait are you saying that Alice Raven is Jade's mother?" Clint asked surprised. Thor looked shocked at the name as if he knew her. I tried to read his thoughts but these stupid handcuffs prevent me from doing so.
"Yes I am" Nick said, "now your mom was also called The Raven. She worked beside Barton and Romanoff. When she was actually taken by Hydra I thought she left SHIELD and gave Hydra information so I had Clint and Natasha hunt her down. I didn't think she was actually captured."
"My mother is dead because of a small thought?" I asked.
"Rogers gave us information that you were tortured because of your abilities. You were made to believe your mother worked for Hydra" Nick said.
"That's because she did. She was forced to give information. Rogers doesn't know how they forced her but I bet he has an idea" I growled looking over at Rogers.
"Tell me how you got the name Harrison" Nick said.
"My trainer was like a father to me. Last name was Harrison so I gave myself that name, I looked up to him" I said.
"Do have any clue who your real father is?" Nick asked.
"No sir. But I do know that's where I got my abilities from" I said.
"Then I guess you'd like to hear your punishment?" Nick asked.
"Sure" I said hoping it didn't have to do with the Avengers or Fantastic Four.
"You will be under house arrest at Avengers Tower. With the Avengers's supervision" he said as everyone in the room had a shocked expression.
"Oh god!" Me and Tony said at the same time. I wonder if we'd get along. Probably not.
"Mr Stark please make sure Jade's room at the tower is ready" Nick said.
"You're joking right?" Tony asked.
"Does it look like I'm joking?" Nick asked.
"Maybe" Tony said as I got up and walked slowly towards the door waiting for my escorts.
"Let's go Snowflake" Tony said as Steve and Thor grabbed my arms and we walked toward. This should be fun.

We landed at Avengers Tower and I was rudely awoken by Steve. I groaned and turned away from him hoping he'd just leave me on the jet. Nope. I was thrown over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. I was really tired. We entered the building and I hit my head on the top of the door.
"Ouch!" I said as Steve let out a chuckle, "sometimes you're nice. Sometimes you're a real pain."
"That's called lying" Steve said.
"That's called you don't have a heart" I said as we entered the elevator, "put me down. I know how to walk." He didn't even move or say anything. Once the doors opened and we entered into a nice little area. There was a hallway where four rooms were. There was a small living room and a tiny kitchen. I guess the bigger kitchen is upstairs. We walked down the hallway and Steve opened a door before dropping me onto the carpeted floor. I groaned in pain as I slowly got up. Steve took a key from his pocket and went to take off the handcuffs. I looked up at him with confusion.
"The walls in the tower keep you from using your powers. Except for in the training room" He said taking them off.
"Thanks for the information, Rogers. Now do me a favor" I said smiling.
"What is that favor?" He asked and my smile dropped.
"Leave me alone" I said clearly angry with him. At first he didn't move. I opened the door and pushed him out of the bedroom.
"Dinner is in an hour" he said.
"Doesn't mean I'll be there" I said closing the door and locking it. I saw what looked to be an expensive vase so I pushed it off the dresser, breaking it.
"Hello Mrs Raven. I am JARVIS, Mr Stark's A.I system" a British voice said scaring the crap out of me.
"Uh hi" I said.
"You seem upset. Do you request comforting?" JARVIS asked.
"I am upset but no" I said flopping down on the soft bed.
"Are you sure because Thor is at your bedroom door wishing to speak with you" JARIVS said.
"Tell him so go away" I said closing my eyes.
"He refuses to leave until he talks to you" JARVIS said.
"FINE! Let him in!" I said as the door unlocked and Thor entered.
"Lady Raven, may I have a word with you?" Thor asked.
"I don't know it depends... And just call me Jade" I said.
"I knew your mother" Thor said making me raise my eyebrow.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes... One day I met her. She was very beautiful but she wasn't mine to claim she was actually in love with a man who I grew up with" he said.
"That's interesting" I said as he closed the door and walked over to the bed.
"One day that man asked for her hand in marriage" Thor said sitting down beside me.
"Sounds like a love story" I said.
"But your mother was soon carrying that man's child" he said.
"Who was this man?" I asked he seemed to be worried how I'd take the information, "just tell me."
"Your father is... My brother" he said as it all started to make sense. Since I was a baby I possessed abilities that I inherited from my father. It made a lot of sense, "I remember when you were just a little infant."
"So you're saying that I'm the daughter of a god?" I asked.
"Yes. And you are my niece" Thor said as I stood up.
"How can I believe you?" I asked. He pulled a small necklace from his pocket. It was beautiful. There was a emerald stone on the end of the chain.
"Think of your mother" he said placing it around my neck. I thought about my mother's pale skin, blue eyes, her smile, and her sweet voice. I opened my eyes and looked around the room to see a scene playing in front of me.
"She looks like you" my mother said as she held an infant close to her as a man with raven black hair and emerald green eyes stood at the beside. The small infant reached up and grasped the man's pale finger. She giggled at the man as he kissed her small hand.
"She'll grow to be a beautiful young lady" someone said as I turned to see Thor enter the room with a few things.
"Thank you, Thor" the man said.
"Anything for my brother" Thor said as he looked at the small baby.
"What is her name?" a women with long black hair asked with a large smile.
"Jade" my mother said.
"That is a beautiful name" the women said.
"Thank you, Sif" Mother said as she rubbed her thumb on the small baby's cheeks.
"She possess my abilities" The Man said.
"Stop bragging, Loki" said Mom.
"I'm not bragging, I'm simply stating a fact" Loki said making the baby giggle.
"She's a daddy's girl" Mom said with a big smile as Loki couldn't help but smile as well.
"Do you believe me now?" Thor asked snapping me back into reality. I didn't answer. I just hugged him. I felt tears form in my eyes. As long as I could remember I was thought to believe my father was dead.
"Thank you" I said barely above a whisper.
"You are welcome, young one" Thor said smiling.
"It's been a long time, Uncle Thor" I said, "don't tell the others though."
"My lips are sealed. Family comes first" he said. Well at least I still have some family.
