Rin's Pov
My cheek was stinging.
He slapped me.
Bitch.
"Oh hell no! I swore to whatever shitty God is up there that I wouldn't ever let you do that to me again!" I said as I lunged at him, sweeping his legs out from under him.
He hit the ground with a loud boom, and I stepped on his back, preventing him from getting up.
"Whoops." I deadpanned, digging my heel further into his spine.
His chin scraped the ground slightly, making him bleed and screech.
"Guards!"
That one word was all I need to hear before I bounded off the other side of the room, trying not to show my fear as six or more pairs of footsteps ran down some stairs and through a door I didn't know existed.
The burly men and one woman burst through the door and came at me.
I tried to defend myself, I really did.
Four guards were on the ground, unresponsive.
Two, the smallest guy and the woman were still standing. The man rushed at me, and it took most of my energy to kick him in the back of the knees and send him to the floor.
But the second he was on the ground, the female guard pounced on me.
And everything went black.
