The pain of the past

The pain of yesterday
Doesn't have to ruin your today
Even though it'll try
Doesn't mean you have to let it pry
Even if it'll crack
Don't lose your tact
Don't give in
Don't let it win

It's hard
But don't let it tear you apart
Life isn't easy
But, remember, God doesn't give you a lock without a key
There's a solution to everything
We just gotta find it within our own being
