Come Back To Me (Liam Payne)

“I do,” her lips quivered as she said the two words that changed her life forever. The tall, muscular man stood in front of her flashed her a smile she fell in love with.

“I now announce you as man and wife. You may kiss the bride.”

Before the preacher finished the sentence, the man pressed his lips delicately, yet passionately, on the lips he’d grown to cherish. All the claps their families and friends gave in that little church seemed quiet to them. “I love you, [Y/N],” the man murmured, and smiled. “I love you too, Liam,” she choked on her tears as she said that, before feeling Liam’s lips fixated on her forehead.

All people stood on their feet and applaud, happy for the perfect couple they knew would always be together. Some even cried of the euphoria.

Liam took her hand, and led her out of the church, but the task was hardly done because all of their friends and families are swarming them with greetings and hugs. When they finally did, they hurriedly went in to the classic VW they chose to take them to where the reception is held.

They made the right choice by only inviting not more than 100 guests. Liam and [Y/N] like to keep their romantic life private, the paps were hardly get any of their photos when they’re still dating. This time, Liam worked so hard to keep the place where they get married, British Virgin Island, turned into a more beautiful paradise free from paps and fans.

All of the beautiful lights from the party, and the breath-taking view of the sea at night, seemed nothing compares to [Y/N], he thought that time. Everything was beautiful if he’s with her. It was weird to remember that she never feel good about herself, when in fact, she’s beautiful. She always has been the same way. Everything in her is beautiful; to Liam.

“I love you, Mrs. Payne,” Liam kissed her cheek as Zayn gave his best man toast to the crowds.

“I remember how wide his smile was when he first saw her in the crowds that night at our last Take Me Home Tour show. That was almost four years ago; several months after Liam declared that he was single. I remember how upset he was when he broke up but seeing [Y/N] that night changed everything. He asked, no scratch that, pleaded, to Paul to take her backstage right after we finished Moments,” he chuckled, staring at his best friend along with the woman who saved him.

“I know Harry would say that he’s the one who made this,” he moved his hands animatedly toward the happy couple, “but it’s actually me because I made the first move. And I did give her hints that my sucker mate there went numb as he saw her face to face.” Everyone laughed, some even clapped. “But I know.. Everyone knows, that Liam and [Y/N] together are like the type of old couples we see at the park, holding hands. Their love is forever. It’ll never break,” Zayn held up his champagne glass, “so cheers. To the most perfect couple in the world.”

With that, everyone stood up and looked at the newly wedded couple, saying their cheer’s.

Liam kissed her forehead before he got up the stage. “Before I said something, I want to thank all of you for coming here. I would like…”

“Sir, sir, you need to wake up.” Rose, a middle-age nurse, woke him up from his sleep. He sit straight, “o-oh, I’m sorry, Rose.” He said groggily before flashing a warm, sad smile to her. “I have a news for you,” Rose smiled, as she cleans up [Y/N]’s bedside table. “What news?” Liam stood up, as he has been waiting for those six words for the past three weeks.

“Follow me,” she nods toward him, and soon exits the room.

Liam soon follow her but not without telling [Y/N] his “be back soon” even though he knows she couldn’t hear him.
