The light shined through the window, hitting my eyes as I woke up, and warming me as I stretched. I could hear the sounds of the piano resonating throughout the house, Louis must already be up. Louis and I had been together for almost 4 years now, and we are finally engaged. Well, I guess its time for me to get up then. I rolled out of bed, placing my feet into the fuzzy slippers beside the bed. As I made my way out of our massive bedroom and down the stairs, I couldn’t believe that I really had this all. I had the most amazing fiancé in the entire world, a huge home, and a successful career. All of it was almost too good to be true. Lou and I were both very modern (I guess that’s the word) and our house was mainly white and nude colors, with some splashes of bright here and there. We loved this home. After going on long tours or countless hours of recording, Louis could come here and just relax with me. We had the perfect fairytale life, I was his princess and he was my Prince Charming. And soon we’d be married.

I followed the sound of the piano, getting closer to my loving fiancé with every step. I could hear him in his music room playing and singing my favorite song, The Parting Glass. Louis didn’t notice me as I got closer so I decided to surprise him. Right when he got to the second verse, I wrapped my hands around his eyes, leaning into his ear playfully whispering, “Guess whooo!”

Louis laughed and grabbed my hands, turning around on the piano bench and pulling me in for a sweet kiss.

“Mornin love.” Louis said with a smile as he pulled away.

“Good morning sweetheart.” I said, laughing as I kissed him on the nose.

Louis laughed and looked down to my stomach, “And good morning to you too darling! How’s daddy’s little girl this morning?” Oh yeah, did I mention I am pregnant? Well I am, and I couldn’t be more happy. Louis insists that it’s a girl but I think it’s a boy and we both refuse to let them tell us the gender because we want it to be a surprise.

I smiled down at him as we both felt my stomach, “I told you Lou, it’s a boy. And he is going to be handsome just like his dad.”

Louis smirked at me as he stood and said, “Whatever you say dear, we are going to have a baby girl who is just as beautiful as her mother soon.” Before I could say anything he shushed me, “Would you like some breakfast babe?” He knew me all too well.

“oooh yes please!” I almost squealed.

“Alright then lets go.” Louis grabbed my hand and we walked to the kitchen.

We had quite a debate on what to eat for breakfast; omlettes or crepes, pancakes or waffles, or just a simple bowl of cereal and some fruit. Louis final insisted on making us omlettes while I cut up fruit, he said that I need to eat more and eat healthy because “I was eating for two.” As if I haven’t been doing that for the past six months. After I cut the fruit, I poured us some orange juice and set the table in the small breakfast nook we had, setting out the paper for him.

Louis finally finished making the omlettes and took his seat across from me.

“Thanks for making me breakfast babe.” I said as I smiled at him.

“Sure thing love.” Lou replied as he looked at the paper. I couldn’t believe that the most beautiful man in the world was sitting across from me, and I was going to marry him and have his child in a couple months. I was the luckiest girl in the entire universe. I had been digging into my omlette and fruit for a couple minutes when I heard Louis say, “I love you, more than anything.”

I looked up to see him staring at me, his perfect smile plastered on his face, and I couldn’t help myself from blushing. “I love you too Lou, to the moon and back.” This was hands down the perfect morning.
