Michael:
You had been working hard to get an in to the music industry and recently you had been lucky enough to be given the amazing opportunity to intern with Modest Management. Currently you were sitting in one of the meeting rooms, waiting for a group to come in, you were to observe and take notes on the meeting. You looked up when you heard voices entering the room and looked straight into the eyes of Michael Clifford who, true to his reputation, sent you a rather charming smile, which immediately had you blushing and looking away, back down to your book.
Michael's POV
*I watched the girl in the corner quickly look back at her book trying to hide the blush that clearly coloured her cheeks. To be honest I was used to the reaction but something about this girl caught my eye, and I couldn't seem to let it go. I sat down at the table between Luke and Calum and tried to focus on what was happening in the meeting, but my eyes kept flicking over to the girl in the corner and every now and then when my eyes flicked to her, she would be looking at me as well and for a moment I would see her eyes before she dropped her gaze again. I was snapped out of yet another look her way by a jab in the ribs. "Ow," I mumbled looking expectantly at Calum. "Take a picture it'll last longer" Calum said with a smirk. "Don't know what you're talking about" I mumbled back, pointedly turning away from the corner where she sat, Calum obviously not believing a word as he chuckled to himself, concentrating once again on the meeting.
The meeting was called to an end without my knowledge, I only noticed when the boys stood around me. I stood quickly and noticed a smirk on Calum's face before he spoke "could someone show us to where we could get some lunch, I'm starving" he said, looking pointedly at the girl. One of our managers looked up distractedly and looked at where Calum was looking "yes Y/N" he said, thankfully providing a name for me, "can you show the boys where we have set up lunch." Y/N nodded and gathered her stuff, hurrying towards the door with us following behind. Barely in the hallway, I felt two sets of hands on my back and I was pushed till I stumbled into line with Y/N. She looked at me expectantly and I ran a hand nervously through my hair "ahh Y/N was it?" I asked, waiting for her nod before continuing "I'm Michael, so you're new, are you studying?" I asked, grappling for a conversation starter after being forced into this without preparing. "Yes I'm studying event management and music" she told me with a shy smile. "Well I know a thing or two about music, maybe we could grab a coffee tomorrow and talk" I hopefully suggested. She looked cautiously up at me through her lashes and after a short pause she nodded, "sure Michael, that would be nice" she said and I let out a breathe I hadn't realised I'd been holding. We then fell into easy conversation, the nervous energy gone, Calum reaching forward to subtlety clap me on the back.
