You'd been pacing around your living room, bubbling with excitement. Michael was on his way home after you'd texted him to get there as soon as possible. You held the pregnancy results in your hands. After missing your period, you'd taken one at home but wanted to be sure before you told anyone so you had gone to the doctors where they confirmed it. You rubbed your stomach and laughed to yourself because this was all so overwhelming but in the best way. From the kitchen you heard Michael walk in and call for you. "In the kitchen, Michael," you called back. You smiled as he walked in and kissed you. "What's the big news?" he asked as he took a seat at the counter. You handed him the paper results and waited for him to comprehend it. "No fucking way. Are you serious?" You grinned and nodded as he stood up and pulled you into his arms. "Oh my god," he whispered, "we're gonna be parents." He laughed in your ear and kissed you repeatedly before sitting down again to catch his breath. "I love you so much, babe."
