Imagine....asking neighbor ashton to watch your baby girl for "two seconds, tops, i just have to get the mail," because he'd offered a few weeks ago when you moved in and you could trust him because he had his own son on the weekends and you'd ending up being gone for over two hours, figuring that you could run to store and be back soon enough and when you finally return, you knock on ashton's door and he opens it, smiling and he cuts you off before you have a chance to apologize and you sigh, thanking him and he only shrugs and replies "no, i understand babe, being a single parent is hard" and your little girl giggles and pulls on his curls, making him wince slightly and he kisses her cheek before she reaches her arms out for you, asking "when am i going to come to ashy's again?"
