Chapter 9

Today was the day of my date! I am so excited, I know exactly what I will wear. My date is in two hours so I have to go take a shower.

I got out of the shower and put my robe on. I blow dry my hair and curl it. I put on my makeup and bright red lip stick.

I finally get my beautiful dress I picked out and put it on. It is a short red laced dressed, I'm wearing black high heels with it. I look pretty great if I say so myself.

he should be picking me up any minute so I wait outside.

I'm still waiting for him. It's been about 15min. He is taking a while,but I'm sure there is a reason.

It's now been 40min. He hasn't answered any of my calls and text. I'm so mad right now I got dressed for nothing.i go on my Instagram scrolling through the pictures, until I came across a picture Chris posted and he was with two girls at a party. I'm glad I meant something.

" your date stood you up?" Somebody said in a distance.

Brennen.

" yeah." I say honestly.

" what an ass" I smirk at his comment. 

" yeah I seem to pick a lot of asses to be my friend." He laughs.

" well he is stupid for not taking you on that date."

" what's you want Brennen." I sigh.

" I'm sorry."

I laugh.

" you seem to say that a lot."

" I don't know why I kissed her. I just got so jealous when you and Chris were talking."

" I don't understand us. We say we liked each other we even kiss then the next day we acted like nothing happened, we acted like we didn't just spill our feeling for each other. So let me say this, you make me crazy Brennen Taylor, but in a way it just makes me like you more. "

" Alex you always seem to make my day with your sarcasm remarks. Maybe we fight a little but every relationship does. I like you a lot Alex and I want to take things slow and I want us to get along. Can we start over? "

" my name is Alex" I say giving out my hand so he could shake it.

" my name is Brennen." He smiles and shakes my hand.
