Chapter 40

I woke up really early so I could make breakfast for Jake. Brennen has been gone for 3 days and I guess Brennens dad is happy to see them.

I finally was done making food for Jake. I made eggs bacon and a pancake with syrup on the side and put it on a tray. I was wearing his button up shirt that was to big on me and sat  on top of him waking him up.

" Good morning." I cheekily say.

" Breakfast in bed, you shouldn't have." He says in his tired voice.

" But I did." I tell him kissing him on the lips.

" I want us to move in with each other." He said between our lips.

" W-what?" I say Pulling our lips apart.

" I mean we've been together for a while now Alex, I love you." He says rubbing my arm.

I get off of him and sit on the bed.

" Yeah I mean I guess." I shrug.

" You guess? You obviously don't seem to serious." He sighs, getting off the bed.

" No baby, I want you to move in, I'm just not use to all of this." I walk towards him as he puts his pants on.

" Used to all what?"

" I've never been in a relationship this serious. I mean other then Brennen, but we weren't in a relationship when I found out I was pregnant. I'm just not used to having someone stay over at my house and waking up to someone that tells me how beautiful I am or how much they love me. I'm ju-" he puts his hand on my cheek and kisses me.

" Shut up Alex." He whispers  between our lips.

" Shut up and listen to me." He says again.

" I love you Alex, and I know your not used to all of this, but I can help you. I can help you Alex, I can help you because I love you."

" Let's move in together." I say taking his hand.

" Let's move in together." He says grabbing my waist and kissing me.

I felt the vibration in my back pocket. I tried to ignore it, but it kept ringing.

" I have to answer this." I say taking my lips away from his.

" Hey Brennen what's up?" I ask him.

Jake sighs.

" We're coming home today." He says.

" You just got there though." I say walking into the kitchen.

" shit happened were coming back." He said bluntly.

" what do you mean, shit happened?" I question.

" My dad died that's what happened. We will be home tomorrow morning, bye."

" Brennen." He instantly hung up.

" What happened." Jake asked, rubbing his hands on my waist.

" Brennens dad died." I say.

" I'm sorry."

" It's Brennen im worried about, I really hope he is okay."

" He has Lux, everything will be okay." He kisses my neck.

I hope Brennens okay.

" Shouldn't you start packing your stuff." I turn to him.

" Yeah I should, but I want to be with you. " he kissing me.

" I have to go do the laundry babe." I say moving away from him.

" Are you okay?" He asks.

" I'm fine babe, I'm fine."
