Katherine reached out to Anika, as if her own eyes were failing her.

— Come on, sis, come hug me. — Kayoko said, spreading her arms again, inviting the other girl to come closer and dive into her embrace. A deadly embrace. — What's the matter? Don't you want to hug your new relative?

— How?

— I've already told you how. Leslie had an open relationship with my father, and apparently neither of them knew about such a thing as a "contraceptive" and Leslie got pregnant, Dad persuaded her to leave the pregnancy and just give the baby to him after giving birth, which she did. Surprisingly, for a woman who hated even the idea of having children so much, Leslie, the mother, had too many of them, as many as three, right? — The Ghostface laughed and, grabbing the collar of the black suit, she pulled it up and threw it off, leaving it lying on the floor, remaining in ordinary clothes, trousers and a T-shirt. — No matter how hard Daddy tried, Mom's crazy genes took their toll, and when I saw that I was so unlike my kind, soft-hearted father, I started looking for my mom. — Why not? We've already had Billy Loomis, Stu Macher, and even Nancy Loomis of the new generation, I chose to be Roman Bridger, isn't that ironic and funny? — Kayoko spun around and waved her long hair, grinning broadly. — No, I don't envy you.
