Katherine ran in, out of breath, and saw a gruesome sight. A man in a Ghostface costume was holding Anika against a bookshelf, brutally thrusting a knife into her stomach, causing her to let out a heart-wrenching scream. Mindy was lying near the sofas, clutching her neck, but her hand was also bleeding profusely.

Without hesitation, and without seeing Samantha, Macher rushed towards the Ghost. As if sensing her rapid approach, he pushed Anika away from him and intercepted the other girl's attack.

The brunette pressed the masked maniac into the same shelf behind him and tried to swing a knife without aiming anywhere specifically because of the adrenaline. She was able to cut his suit in the abdominal area, and perhaps even injure him, but she couldn't see it all because of the same black suit.

Rushing forward, she hit his head with her forehead, thrusting her arm forward in the same motion that he had done a second earlier. They both stabbed each other in the forearm area, missing due to their counterattacks.

They also aimed at each other's throats.

The elder Carpenter ran in and, swinging, she hit Ghostface, who was disoriented by the previous attack on the head, with a wooden knife-rod and the man fell to the floor, but the knife remained in his hand.

Grabbing the injured Anika by the arm, Stu's niece looked around wildly, quickly considering where to run. She saw that the front door was closed, but she didn't know if the door was locked.

But the door to Quinn's room was open, and the brunette rushed in, followed by Sam, who was holding Mindy's good arm.

As soon as the door to Bailey's room was closed, she was immediately attacked, but Billy's daughter and Roman's daughter leaned against the door together, preventing the Ghostface from entering.

Looking up, Katherine noticed a door to the bathroom that was wide open, with two exits. The second door was also open.

Samantha nudged her lover in the side, pointing in the same direction she had been looking a second earlier, and whispered with her lips that she should close the door.

Running quickly forward, Macher slammed the door shut and snapped the lock into place. Just in time, because the flimsy door was immediately subjected to a barrage of blows, not just from fists, but also from feet, judging by the way the poor wooden door shook and creaked as the lock struggled to hold on.

Turning around, Leslie's daughter ran back into Quinn's room and closed the second door, this time with an even weaker latch. Yeah, that latch won't keep Ghostface out for long.

- Tara, Chad, Oliver? - Sidney's niece asked her beloved, panting, while they both looked around the bedroom with wild eyes, thinking how they could get out. There is only one way out - the window, but this exit without stairs will lead them straight to heaven.

- They ran out the door. The Ghost slammed the door behind them and locked the door with Quinn's keys. He also took all our kitchen knives. - The elder Carpenter answered shortly, opening the window, lifting it up. She leaned over the frame and looked out, immediately straightening back up. Too high.

- He took my knives, too.

- Katherine! - Oliver's voice shouted, but the girl didn't have time to turn in that direction as more blows began to rain down on the bathroom door.

Ghostface had already entered the bathroom through the first door and was now determined to reach the four girls by breaking down the second door as well.

Sam ran over to her lover and together they pushed the heavy-looking (and it wasn't just heavy-looking) nightstand towards the door, giving the four of them some time.
