Katherine remained silent, just walking behind Tara and Samantha, who continued to swear, Mindy, Chad, Ethan and Anika walked next to her, also keeping silence, not interfering in the quarrel between the two Carpenters.

Murphy surreptitiously ran her eyes over the people around them, who kept turning around, either recognizing their company, or because of the loud voices of the sisters. Therefore, when she was touched again by some person who, judging by the size of his body, was hidden by a cloak, was a man, she sighed irritably and this time she did not put up with it.

The girl turned to him, indignant loud words were already ready to escape from her lips when...

— I'm sorry, I'm sorry. — The man mumbled, his dark hair and brown eyes peeking out from under his hood, staring directly at the brunette, which was strange considering the guy's nervous behavior due to the collision.

— Get lost already. — Roman's daughter grumbled, stepping aside to let the man pass, tactically not turning her back on him. Just in case, he's too suspicious.

If her girlfriend hadn't been busy sorting things out with her sister, she would have pointed this man out to her, but instead turned to Mindy.

— Am I the only one who found this dude suspicious? — Coming closer to Meeks-Martin, the brunette asked her, indicating with a nod of her head at the retreating man, when their whole group stopped after the Carpenters.

Mindy turned to her friend and squinted at the man in question. — Yes, is he creepy? Creepy, like he's going to turn back to us right now, open his raincoat and start shaking his stuff.

Stu's niece put her hand in her jacket pocket and squeezed the handle of Vince's folding knife, which she found in the glove compartment of his former car and decided to take it (as well as several of his other knives) to herself as a memorial to her brother. She grimaced at what Chad's sister had said. — Ugh, I didn't think of him that way, he just seemed strange to me.

The next time Katherine looked at him, the man had already disappeared into the crowd, which upset Chad, as he had overheard the conversation between his friend and sister and wanted to see for himself this "creepy guy," as Mindy described him.

Murphy frowned even more when she saw how upset her girlfriend was while her conversation with Tara continued, only now in calmer tones, without shouting and sweeping aggressive gestures with her hands. She continued not to interfere, but silently put her hand on Sam's back and gently rubbed it, trying to provide at least some semblance of support.

Leslie's daughter noticed a group of girls walking in their direction, and it would have been fine if it hadn't been for their stares, which caught her attention. She walked around Samantha, pulled a taser out of her back pocket of jeans, and gripped it tightly in her hand, preparing for the confrontation she felt would happen as soon as this group of girls caught up with her and her friends.

When she saw one particular girl separating from her girlfriends, holding a glass of drink in her hand, the brunette decided to be proactive, but she wasn't the only one. Anika also saw something coming and stood in front of her girlfriend, even though Mindy didn't need a protector.

Taking a step towards the blonde, Sidney's niece firmly grabbed the unknown girl by the arm, preventing her from trying to pour her drink over one of them, which she was holding in her hand, and with her other hand she took out a taser and turned it on, bringing it to the blonde's face.

— If you or one of your friends tries that trick on someone I know again, even Ethan or Quinn, I'll electroshock you so hard that you'll have to learn to eat, walk, and talk all over again, is that clear? — Katherine squeezed the hand of an unknown blonde so hard that she dropped the glass, and her friends, who had previously turned on the cameras on their phones, did not stop filming, now purposefully filming only two girls. — And one more thing. Did you really think it was a good idea to attack someone you call a murderer like that? Come on, girl, she or, more likely, I could come into your house with a knife at night if we were at least one percent as crazy as everyone makes us look.
