Tara stirred on the bed and tried to get up a little when she saw her best friend and sister stumble into her room, clinging to each other.

— What the hell happened? I heard screams and noises.

— I was attacked. — That's all Sam said before helping Katherine sit down neatly on the couch. She knelt down and grimaced as she felt a small sharp pain in her side. It seems she got hurt a little bit when she was defending herself from the Ghostface. — I was running out of the break room and bumped into Katherine.

— Oh, my God. — Tara moaned in annoyance when she realized that she couldn't even get out of bed and go to her best friend, who was holding her stomach, and her sister, who was not paying attention to her own injuries, focusing entirely on the redhead in front of her. Hmm, interesting. — Was it him? A Ghostface?

— Yes. — Samantha pulled her phone out of the back pocket of her jeans and wanted to hand it to her sister, ask her to call Sheriff Hicks and report the attack, although that officer guarding Tara had probably already done so.

— Tara shouldn't strain herself too much. — Murphy protested, took the smartphone from Samantha's hands and started dialing Wes's mom's number, but stopped. — Did the Ghostface call you from this number before the attack? — The girl asked, turning the screen to the elder Carpenter, pointing to the last number from which Sam had received the call.

— Yes. — Samantha, without realizing it, put her hand on Katherine's knee, too focused on figuring out why this number seemed a little familiar to her.

— What is it, Kat? — Tara asked in a worried voice when she noticed her best friend turn a little pale.

— This is Amber's number. — Murphy handed the phone to the younger Carpenter to make sure she wasn't mistaken.

— Indeed, Amber's number. But the Ghostface from her number has already written to us, he cloned it. — Tara said firmly, believing in every word she said.

— God, what happened? — Richie entered the room and dropped the cup of coffee, the dark liquid splashed on the floor. His phone with headphones fell down next to him.

Sam sighed and got up from her knees, realizing that she had to re-explain what had happened a few minutes ago.

Katherine looked away as the two of them kissed.

-----------

Katherine was sitting in the same chair Sam had put her in, only now her posture looked defeated. Head down, long red hair hanging down and making it difficult to see the tears in the girl's eyes.

Her brother, Vince, is dead.

Vince, who was a sweet boy, loved her and spoiled her. Vince, who loved to ride her on his back, pretending to be a dragon, letting his younger sister climb on his shoulders and he jumped all over the apartment, bringing her to an infectious laugh. Vince, who let her paint some of the wallpaper in his room and was proud of her for the well-done drawings.

Vince, who almost immediately after Murphy and Leslie survived Jill's attack on Sidney and, accordingly, on themselves, in the hospital, forced his younger sister to watch a Stab, which drove her into hysterics. Vince, who laughed at his sister's tears, ignored her and mocked her. Vince, who never got out of his teenage rebellious period, remaining a stereotypical "bully" until the age of twenty-two, when he died.

Amber burst into Tara's room with Sheriff Judy in tow and immediately ran up to her girlfriend, who did not yet know about her brother's death. She knelt down in front of her and gently took her wrists as Wes's mom began to talk about the first murdered victim of their new Ghostface.
