To say that Samantha was furious that she wasn't there when Ghostface made contact with her girlfriend was an understatement. She would have thrown a bottle of red wine at the wall if Katherine hadn't stopped her by grabbing both of her arms and assuring her that she was fine.
Fifteen minutes after Sam arrived, Tara, Mindy, Chad, and Anika arrived, and when they saw the elder Carpenter's violent behavior, they asked Leslie's daughter what had happened, and she had to tell them.
After this incident, Samantha made it clear that none of them would be alone again, as Ghostface had appeared at the apartment door because the former redhead was alone, and he must have known about it.
Carpenter was ready to continue her destruction and rage, but she stopped when she saw her lover, who had been calm about the masked killer's visit, become nervous.
But then the courier arrived, and the two girls decided to focus on their date, which was already half-ruined.
A young guy dressed in a special blue shirt handed several paper bags to the brunette, who was hugged from behind by Samantha, refusing to remove her hands from her body after the news of the Ghostface's visit.
Maybe that wasn't the point at all.
— Here's the money. — Sidney's niece handed the money to the courier and he accepted it with a smile, Sam, continuing to cling to her lover's back, took the paper bags from the guy's hands.
— Hey, you girls are cute. — Smiling, the delivery man began to speak, and after looking down at the two girls' bodies, he raised his eyebrows. — Maybe we could-
Roman's daughter slammed the door in his face, not even listening to what he had to say. It was clear that she was not interested in continuing the conversation with this guy once she realized what he wanted from them.
— Hey, lovebirds, before you get lost in each other's eyes and your clothes get lost as well, I'd like to discuss something. Apart from me, did anyone else find it strange that Ghostface appeared shortly after Oliver left? — Mindy started to speak as Tara pushed her back, trying to get her out of the kitchen and give her older sister and her girlfriend some privacy for their romantic dinner.
— Mindy, for God's sake, we can talk about this after my date, I promise. — Macher pleaded. Right now, she didn't want to think about the attacks, the Ghostface, the suspects, and even more so about her uncle who had turned up.
— Have a seat, my lady. — Samantha extended her hand gallantly, helping her beloved to take a seat on the chair and then pushing it back into place. Finally, all their friends left her and her lover alone.
— My Lady? — Oliver's niece purred in a purring voice, smiling gratefully at the older girl for helping her sit down. — People say that chivalry has died out.
The dinner was excellent. Vince's sister was happy, despite the sense of danger lingering in the back of her mind. She was happy spending time with the love of her life, and after this amazing date, they had a movie night with their mutual friends, gathering in the living room. Just then, Quinn and Ethan arrived, almost simultaneously, with a minute difference.
As much as the brunette didn't really want to burst the pink bubble of happiness she was in, she needed to talk to her girlfriend and friends about her uncle. So to speak, to continue the conversation that Mindy had started.
— Do you really want to invite this suspicious man to our meeting tomorrow? — Chad asked, turning his head to each of his friends as if trying to get their opinions at once.
— I told him not to get involved, that it wasn't his business, but he didn't listen. Look, it won't hurt anything if he's there tomorrow, right? Even if he turns out to be the killer, it won't change anything.
