When Samantha managed to squeeze through the doors of the subway car, Katherine grabbed the sleeve of her jacket so that she would not be accidentally blown away by the flow of the crowd. She reached back, grabbing Tara's wrist, and she, in turn, grabbed Chad's hand.

Brother Meeks-Martin, entering the carriage, reached back, trying to grab his sister's hand, and he succeeded, but his fingers slipped off the fabric of Mindy's jacket and the doors slammed shut right in his sister's face. The car moved off and went forward, leaving the girl at this station.

Macher placed Tara in front of her, seeing how her height made her lose herself in the crowd and get pushed around. Chad, already holding his phone in his hand, looked up at his friends and informed them that Mindy had fallen behind, along with Ethan and Oliver.

When Tara's boyfriend said that he had let go of his sister's hand because Danny had pushed him forward, the former redhead gave the aforementioned boyfriend a meaningful look, but when the lights in the train began to flicker, she gripped the handrail with her fingers, losing what little humor she still had.

Stu's niece really hated being in any kind of dark place where the lights were flashing. It always took her back to 2011, when, as a small, frightened ten-year-old girl, she saw Jill's bloodied, scratched face in Sidney's room, and a light bulb was flashing above them, only adding to the drama and horror in the girl's eyes.

Sam was the only one she'd told about her trigger on the flashing light, so when she saw her girlfriend's white-knuckled grip on the railing, the older girl pulled her close and whispered nonsense in her ear.

Hearing Chad's exclamation, Leslie's daughter looked where the guy's gaze was directed and cursed out loud herself, because she clearly wasn't in the right condition to deal with this shit. After all, of course, almost everyone was dressed in Halloween costumes and, again, of course, there was a Ghostface. Not even one, but several people in a similar costume at once.

Just fine. Really. Well, now it seems that the subway will also be on the brunette's list of triggers.

— Don't worry too much, he won't attack us in such a public place. — The younger Carpenter said in a low voice to her friends.

— Or, on the other hand, he'll take advantage of the crowd and stab one of us in the stomach with a knife and quickly retreat. And on the other-other hand, Quinn is dead, and Ethan and Oliver are at another station, so no one can hurt us. But Mindy is with them, and that's a bad thing. — Katherine muttered to herself. — You know, it would be easier if we just, I don't know, got off at the next station and joined Mindy on the train. But who's going to listen to me? Of course, of course, fuck me.

— What are you mumbling about? — Danny asks, leaning in toward Macher, deftly dodging the elbow of a guy who was lost in thought and almost hit him.

— Nothing, I'm just talking to myself, it's distracting. I don't like flashing lights. — Roman's daughter simply answers, without specifying exactly why she doesn't like, to put it mildly, a flashing light.

— I understand. It adds to the creepiness. — Chad agrees, twisting my whole body to let several people through the door.

The former redhead closed her eyes to stop seeing flashes of light and the subsequent second of darkness. She kept repeating to herself, "I'm not with Jill, I'm not with Jill, I'm not with Jill," and she was so grateful that she hadn't been haunted by Roberts' ghost for over a year.

The elder Carpenter's touch on her lover's palm continues, but now she intertwined their fingers and squeezed them tightly, helping Sidney's niece feel grounded, earning her a grateful look and a light kiss on the cheek.
