Part thirty-one

The former redhead sat down next to the shorter girl and straightened her legs, looking at her best friend next to her with an awkward sigh.

— I understand that I'm not the person you want to talk to, but-

Stu's niece was interrupted by the younger sister of Carpenter, who moved as close to her as possible and leaned over the armrest of the soft seats, resting her head on her shoulder and closing her eyes.

— I do not know how to live with all this. It's like these fucking maniacs will never stop following me now. — Tara said, hugging her best friend by the arm.

— I'd like to say that you'll start living a normal, peaceful life someday, but I'm not the kind of person who can talk about a normal life. Stu, remember? I've been different since I was a child. But we don't have to look far for an example - Kirby. She survived the Ghostfaces of 2011, and she moved on. Yes, she has certain traumas, like we all do, but we're trying to navigate life with them. Roman's daughter, unnoticed by the younger girl next to her, looked at the approaching blonde FBI agent with gratitude and smiled at both of them.

Detective Bailey, Gale, and Samantha approached the three girls, and the man quickly informed them that he knew how to lure their Ghostface into a trap. Kirby also took the opportunity to tease the journalist in return for her earlier jokes.

Katherine looked at Weathers and thought that this was a good chance for her to finally clear up her relationship with Dewey's ex-wife. Perhaps she could try to rekindle the peaceful, warm relationship they once had.

Chad and Mindy were still looking at a mannequin with clothes on it when the others joined them in the main theater, but when they saw Macher close to them, they moved closer together, covering what they were looking at with their bodies. It seemed strange to her, of course, but she didn't bother them with questions or inquiries.

Tara seemed to be in on it with them, because she grabbed her best friend's hand and started pulling her out of the theater, the very first ones to leave, and then the rest of them started leaving as well.

The detective will also be in the park, walking around in a completely "unsuspicious disguise" next to the sisters.

The former redhead refused to be present in both the park and the truck, saying that she would go to Gale's and return to her friends once she had resolved the issue of the journalist and their relationship. The elder Carpenter was only too happy to keep her beloved away from potential danger, as her sister refused to step aside, at least for this time.
