"It hurts less than the last one did." I stated as I admired the arrow inked across my hipbone. Hunter was looking at the black outline of whiskers, ears and eyes of a cat that was tattooed on his bicep but when I spoke he dropped his arm and came over to me.

"It would," he smiled and gently ran his fingers over my hipbone and the tattoo, the feeling sending shivers down my spine, "it looks beautiful." He was standing very close to me, without moving away from him I lifted his arm so I could see his. My fingers traced the tattoo, a small smile lifting the corners of my lips up. I looked up at him, expecting him to be looking at the tattoo as well, but his blue eyes were locked on mine. Neither of us said anything for a few seconds, just looking at each other. His eyes flicked from my eyes to my lips then he pulled his bottom lip between his teeth, he leaned down a little. My heart stopped in my chest but I didn't move away. He placed a hand gently on my hip, letting this thumb run over my tattoo gently. I leaned into him a bit not even thinking about what I was doing, but the vibration in my pocket made me practically jump away from him.

"Marco, hi." My voice came out as a squeak as I answered the phone and I wanted to slap myself. I looked over at Hunter, pulling on my bottom lip with my teeth. He was looking at the floor, a guilty expression on his face. I know my eyes had the same guilt shining in them, I took a deep breath.

"You okay Princess? You sound a little-"
"I'm fine!" I interrupted him. I heard him chuckle on the other end of the line.
"Alright, you and Hunter been for your tattoos yet?" I could hear the smile in his words, it made my heart hurt at how sweet and adorable he was.
"Just finished up. They look amazing!" I smiled, I heard Hunter move in the background. I looked behind me to find Hunter paying the girl that did our tattoos, she had short blonde hair and multiple tattoos climbing up her arms.
"So I'll see you when you get home then?" Marco asked hopefully.
"Of course, gotta go!" I saw Hunter finishing up and turning towards me as the girl continued to talk to him in a flustered manner and leaning towards him, trying to push her boobs up.
"Alright Princess, I love you."
"I uh... Love you too." I said and hung up, taking in a deep breath. I put my phone back in my pocket and turned to Hunter, who was smiling sadly at me.
"Ready to go my little KitKat?" He asked softly and I nodded, taking his hand and squeezing it. I saw the girl behind the counter glare at me and I moved a little closer to Hunter, looking at her from the corner of my eye as she glared daggers at me. Hunter put his arm around me and kissed the top of my head, pulling me against his body as we walked to the car. I casually shot a smug look over my shoulder at the girl who looked about ready to shoot me.

The car ride was mostly silent until a song came on the radio that Hunter and I both loved, we looked at each other and both burst into song. Even though he was amazing and I sounded like a dying whale, he smiled and took my hand as he drove and we sang. He rubbed small circles on the back of my hand with his thumb, when we pulled into his driveway he let go of my hand and smiled at me.
Marco was leaning on the door, Jonathan standing next to him. They were talking and at first didn't look up at us, but as Hunter and I got out the car Jono jerked his chin in my direction and Marco turned to smile at me.
"Hello, my beautiful Princess!" He smiled brightly and walked over to me, pulling me into a kiss. I blushed a little but let myself melt into the kiss. Someone coughed and we pulled away then I realized that someone was both Hunter and Jonathan, making me go an unattractive red.
"Well, let me see the tattoo." Marco said excitedly, tugging my hand. I smiled and lifted my shirt, pulling my jeans down a little to show him the tattoo. He ran his fingers over it, much like Hunter had done earlier, but it wasn't the same. It somehow had less meaning to me and didn't send that shiver down my spine like it should've. I smiled up at him though as he was busy admiring the tattoo.
"Hunter, let's see yours!" He nodded at his brother, Hunter hesitantly lifted his arm and showed Marco.
"Nice."
"Yeah, I think it really shows mine and Kate's bond, ya know?" He smiled but his words were bitter as he looked at his brother.
"Sure." They glared at each other for what seemed like forever, but just as I was about to say something Jonathan did.
"The tattoos are awesome guys, Marco, didn't you have to get ready for training?" He said the words kindly and it snapped Marco out of his death daze with his brother.
"Oh, right! What would I do without you Jono?" He sent Jonathan a lopsided grin but I'm pretty sure I saw his cheeks tinge red.
"See you later Princess, love you." He kissed me quickly but hard on the lips, to which both Hunter and Jonathan scoffed, then he went inside, Jono following close behind him.

Hunter and I sat on his bed, he was leaning against the headboard with his legs spread out in front of him. I was positioned in between his legs on my back, my head resting on his lap as he played with my hair.
"You really like my hair, don't you?" I laughed.
"It's beautiful and unique, like you. So no, I don't like it. I love it." He stated simply but the smile that overtook my face made him laugh.
"I love your hair too." I smiled and reached up, letting my fingers tangle in Hunters hair. He leaned down so I didn't have to stretch so much, our faces were close together and he smirked a bit. I lifted my head a bit and rubbed our noses against each other, he smiled and kissed my nose.
"If you could change one thing about me, what would it be?" I asked after a while, he thought for a bit then shook his head.
"What does that mean?" I frowned slightly.
"It means nothing. I wouldn't change a goddamn thing about you my little KitKat. You're perfect." He smiled down at me, I had to look away due to the redness of my cheeks.
"Don't turn away from me..." He pouted and gently turned my face back to him, keeping his hand there and looking over my face. He leaned down and gently kissed both my cheeks.
"You're my world, KitKat." He said softly. I sat up and turned around, slowly climbing into his lap and wrapping my arms around his neck.
"You're my best friend Hunter, I don't know what I'd do without you..." I whispered, my lips pressed against his ear lightly. I felt him shiver a little underneath me and I smiled, hugging him.

After a while I was starting to fall asleep, Hunter lay me down and put a blanket over me. He kissed the top of my head and when he thought I was sleeping I heard him say softly, "Maybe that 'friend' part will go away some day and I'll just be your best..." I tried not to think about it too much. But the thought of that 'friend' part going away didn't make me feel weird, instead it made my heartbeat speed up. Then I remembered Marco, I do love him. I love Marco, Marco is my boyfriend. Not Hunter...
