Going to school seemed like torture. Negative thoughts kept going through my mind.
What if I had to read out loud agian today? What if I had to go to the board and do something? What if I answered a question wrong?
Ok, I need to think positive I thought to myself on the way to school.
I saw Nicole, as I arrived at school and waved to her.
"Hey." She said.
"Hey." I said back and we walked together to first period.
"Alright class, today we will be doing a group project, I would like for you to get with someone you have never worked with before."She said and went on.
GROUP PROJECT ..WAS I HEARING THIS RIGHT ...OH AND WITH SOMEONE I NEVER WORKED WITH ..WELL THAT IS EVERYONE IN THE CLASS EXCEPT NICOLE ..OH MY GOD ..THIS IS NOT HAPPENING.
"Alright break." She said.
Everyone got into pairs with someone they had never worked with before. Being the shy girl that I am I did not even get out of my seat.
"Wait who will work with a shy girl." A girl said again.
Everyone laughed...Well I had earned myself that nickname.
