"So Shawn, how old are you?" My dad asks. "I turn 17 on August 8th" he replied. "Oh, so you're only a year older than Hannah" my dad said. "Dad.." You said, he was making it awkward, not to mention Shawn was obviously cute. "No, it's fine" Shawn said laughing. "Are you gonna start school here this year?" Shawn asked. "Uh, yeah. I'll be a junior" you replied. Me and Shawn were talking about school stuff when someone knocked on the door, my dad went to answer it and left me and Shawn in an awkward conversation. A few seconds later my dad came back with an older woman. "Oh hey mom" Shawn said. "Mom, this is Hannah and her dad Jeff" Shawn introduced us. "It's very nice to meet you, my name is Karen" she said shaking my dads and i's hand. "Would you guys want to join us for dinner tonight?" Karen asked my dad. My dad looked at Me "yeah that would be great" my dad said. "Good, we'll see you guys at 8!" Karen said and her and Shawn said their goodbyes and left. This should be interesting...
